@fraa888grindr6
@fraa888grindr6 2 ай бұрын
@rosiegirl2485 you are quite deceived. The Bible and Catholic church doctrine are completely opposed to one another. It is impossible to actually study, know, and believe the Bible and simultaneously believe Catholic church doctrine. Period. Clearly, you've not studied the Bible in depth, nor do you really understand Catholic doctrine. The deification of Mary alone, through numerous and relatively new Catholic doctrines, is pure idolatry. There's ZERO evidence in the holy scriptures to validate Mary as sinless, or an intercessor for believers to Christ. In fact, the Bible says that Jesus Christ is the only intercessor between God and man in I Timothy 2:5&6. This is merely one of dozens & dozens of examples of the absolute perversions of the Roman Catholic Church and how they mislead their followers. Study your Bible and the truth will make you free. And if Christ makes you free, you will be free indeed.

@@mariannuckle4737 he is the only truth in this world. I try to plant seeds with everyone I talk with on here. Maybe one will listen, even if only one got curious and read about him, it would be well worth it. I seen on some news media where they were talking about Christians following President Trump. I didn’t bring that up because of political views, that’s one’s own view on who they like. I will say that President Trump will definitely get my vote though lol. Anyway yeah the people that were on the news channel reporting, … it was like 4 … 3 women & 1 man. The man spoke up and got to talking about Jesus and it upset me because the man said that Jesus was hung by the Romans for theft. He sounded like a fool, and a fool is just someone that talks about something they know nothing about, and he sounded like a foolish man. If you’re a believer and it sounds as though you are then we know why Jesus died for us. If a person doesn’t know about sin and some don’t, then they won’t understand the cross and what it means and the sacrifice that was given to us all. This is a free gift to anyone that seeks him, and if they seek they shall find. It really shouldn’t upset me, for that man reporting the news is deceived , such as many are. Everyone I’ve commented to I’ve told them that I feel a stirring in my spirit that there is going to be a great revival coming soon. I see some evidence of this now. Anyway if you’re a prayer warrior then pray for this to take place in Jesus name. I’m not any kind of prophet or anything like that but, I do feel that a great revival is coming and the could be the last great revival. I guess I will see in time to come. God Bless you & God Bless Our Nation !

Story time. I used to listen to Adam’s podcast “No Agenda” and absolutely loved it. About 7 years ago I was struggling and homeless for a while, and I emailed Adam just to tell him that I was struggling and that his podcast was a source of great joy during a difficult time. His response was to immediately send me $500. The generosity and kindness this man showed a total stranger from the other side of the world was absolutely astonishing, and I still think about it today. It brings me so much joy that a man who already had a heart of Christlike compassion now knows the God that brought me through that difficult time.

Another awesome testimony! I'm 72 so I didn't know Adam Curry. I was crazy busy with life in those years with my full time job.. raising my family.. and starting a new church in the small town we lived in and MTV wasn't part of any of that. In fact I viewed things like MTV as being nothing more than the visual 'pied piper' of our day glorifying and modeling a life of rebellion. But I'm filled with delight hearing Adam's story of divine "appointments " and how the Lord sought him out and reached into his life with mercy and an irresistible grace. And Adams' redemptive story gets even better when you hear him say his wife was on the same page spirituality speaking! That is a blessing with a cherry on top in my book. I look forward to seeing Adam and his wife in heaven some sweet day.. but until then may the Lord bless their efforts to reach the lost within their sphere of influence until He comes to take us home! To God be the Glory! Forever! Amen 🕎 ✝️.

What a great interview/testimony. Being a young Christian myself (3 yr but 58 on this earth) I can say that Jesus really transformed Adam, and me for that matter. In my teens/early 20's, I didn't care much for Adam or him being on TV or radio here in the Netherlands. After so many years God led me to experience what a difference He can make in our lives . Now in Adam's eyes and tone of voice is a sincerity and fire that is so beautiful to experience. There is no doubt in my mind that God led me to this video to show me that it is all His work. Not our's. Thank you, Lord. And you guys, keep up the good work.🙏

Being all overly critical and nitpicky about The Chosen is like being a Pharisee back then. You’re acting like the Pharisee by criticizing the show. The goal is to get people excited to come to Jesus, and it has done that for millions of people. Being all nitpicky about trivial things is just silly and you’re losing the whole message of the show. The guy who plays Jesus is a devoted Catholic. Who cares if he wore a skull ring on his finger? And who cares if Dallas Jenkins is a Mormon? That’s all pointless nitpicky stuff. the show has gotten millions interested in getting to know Jesus more, and your complaining about it

I’m actually an old MTV guy who saw the 1st show ever on cable. I’m so surprisingly happy and excited that Adam came to the truth. My story (testimony) has many similarities, yet as many disparities as Adam. This is so beyond cool ! Why ? Because Jesus is cool ! Holy but definitely the winning team !

I have only been listening to No Agenda for about a year and a half but immediately I could tell Adam was on the cusp of finding Jesus Christ. Then one episode months and months back, I forget which exactly, he was astounded by a remark that one female reporter or whoever she was made. She said something along the lines of “if there is this apparent and obvious evil that we can see and contextualize right in front of our faces then I could only imagine there is an opposite to that…” I had already made this conclusion long ago and it got me on the path to knowing who Jesus was and the truth He brought to the world. So I knew it was only a matter of time Adam let that realization land him where he is today. Not surprised in the least. God bless yall. And Adam, don’t stop calling out the spiritual evil even when John will minimize and bulldoze right over it.

I trust Curry and I am intrigued by his move to being a devout Christian. Perhaps we need some faith in our lives.
@ATiredMom

Bring intrigued is a great way to start! This is what I love about Christianity. Those with true faith want non believers to examine the claims of Jesus and what we hold as scripture. We are over-joyed when someone is intrigued and willing to take an honest look. Our scriptures don't shy away from the mistakes of man, which makes the grace and power of God such good news. I think we all have the the moment when we look at life and know there must be something more. I love what I have heard Sean say... It's 'possible' the God of Christianity is not true or maybe even that there isn't a God, but the real question is, what is the most probable? Christianity doesn't answer every single question of the world in the way we may want it spelled out, but we believe the Christian worldview answers the questions of the world better than any other worldview. It's about what can be determined as true, and then our faith becomes real in a way that is difficult sometimes to explain. God Bless you.

Been a follower of The No Agenda Show for years. What you have going for you Adam, both for the podcast and your life, is that you're seeking the truth, are willing to point out "the failure to run true to truth", and will follow the truth where ever it leads. Bless you! and may you be blessed. PS I became aware of your conversion during the lock-downs. Thank you to you and John D for using that God given tool: Truth and Logic are two sides of the same coin. May God's kingdom come.

The book of Hebrews is worth the time to read and re-read in depth. Jack Hibbs (Biblical pastor, non-denominational- easily found by searching his name on KZfaq), started teaching Hebrews to many (including many Catholics) who started attending his church on Wednesday nights during Covid. I found a greater depth through that study that was very helpful in my own growth of relationship with Christ.❤

Praise God for his testimony! 80s teen who watched him often. I got saved in 89, so Stryper & Petra were big in my early years. I know, and he knows, he's new in his faith in our LORD. However, for the sake of unification and edification of the body of Chrsit, it's important to clarify from scripture a couple of commonly held misconceptions in Christendom. 1) We are NOT all God's children. Adam said, in reference to he and his wife being mindful of people while at the airport, that "we are all God's children." This is a common universalist dogma, which makes sense given his pre-conversion religious experience. But the scriptures teach us differently. In the Gospel of John, chapter 8, Jesus is dealing with the pharisees and sadducees and quite plainly tells them, that though they are Abraham's offspring, they don't do the deeds of Abraham (39 & 40), then the religious leaders make claim to being children of God (41), but in verses 42-44 Jesus quite plainly tells them that they are "children" of their "father" the "devil," and that they lie against Him, like their "father" who was "a liar from the beginning and the father of lies." Ephesians 2:2-3 unbelievers are "of the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience" and "by nature children of wrath." Later in Ephesians 2 it says we are "no longer strangers and aliens" but instead "fellow citizens with the saints" and "of the household of God." So then, we've been adopted into the family of God, of which we didn't belong to before. God makes us His children, though Christ. This theme is found nearly throughout all Paul's writings to the churches. Unbelievers are not God's children, but God's creation. 2) Jesus was not handsome. Regarding Jesus appearance, all His major portrayals have been done by mostly handsome actors. Yet, again, the scriptures tell us something different. Isaiah 53:2 reads: For He grew up before Him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of parched ground. He has no stately form or majesty that we should look upon Him, nor appearance that we should be attracted (desire) to Him. So Christ, Messiah, as the Man Jesus of Nazareth, was likely very average, or even below average in the looks deparment. But His godly character & power, resulting from His obedience to the Father and leading of the Spirit (He is our forerunner and in the faith) is what drew all people to Himself. He spoke truth in love and demonstrated God's power in miracles, including the resurrection from the dead, proving His divinity as the Son of God. Dustin Hoffman, at 30, would've made a good Jesus. Be blessed in His word and be fruitful from His word!

ITM ya'll! I am still so happy about Adam coming to Christ! Been listening to NA for a long long time and a couple years ago, I was praying/talking to Jesus off and on about Adam, saying "Man Jesus, it would be so great if Adam would come to know You! I know it is probably a long shot but it would be so good to have him as a man knowing Christ!" I know it is still up to the person to not just hear but LISTEN to Jesus speak to their heart. And I know I wasn't alone praying for Adam (and still John too!). I still feel like a am just starting on my journey with Christ as well and it has been YEARS! But loving every moment of it! And I can see I have some things I can learn, even from new followers in Christ. Adam made some good points I have been praying about! "Lord Jesus Christ, son of God, have mercy on me a sinner." This is the Jesus prayer. This prayer is the foundation of the ascetic lives of Orthodox Christianity. In the monestaries the monks pray this contunually as they go about their labors. As a lay Orthodox Christian this prayer is a medicine to our soul as well and should be prayed as often as possible.
