Got a 2-in-1 matrix self empty a month ago. Ran it for days to get all the pet hair. My allergies have significantly improved and the floors have never been cleaner.

Had this model for around 2 years and it was honestly amazing for the time. After the first few weeks I wouldn't have to touch it at all. It could figure my floor plan out even with toys and objects scattered around the ground

I just finished my basement and moved this model downstairs to handle the 1000 sq ft of carpet. Still running great! I ended up getting the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra for upstairs with hardwood. The mopping features on that one and the LIDAR navigation are next level awesome! It's over 4X the price though.

We have 6 cats, get loads of tumble-furs, esp in the summer, and I wanted to ask; How good is it at getting the fur out of the vacuum into the "holding tank"? Does it leave any behind?

Did great with my 90 lb lab's fur. She shed so much that we'd have fur tumbleweeds if we didn't vacuum every day. After about two weeks, the tower this empties into was basically one giant compacted ball of fur.

Hits my baseboards well just did first time will it get better with time as it learns

Mine hits some baseboards and avoids others. You could try deleting the map and see if it learns better this next time. Also make sure the lights are on, as it uses the ceiling facing camera for navigation.
