@@randyjax09 The shark encountered me while I was motionless and swam away when I nearly kicked it in the head. Literally a masterclass in observational awareness and reaction speed.

My extremely fast reaction discouraged the sevengill from investigating further. There's even video evidence.

The shark probably was attracted to all the squeaks you made while adjusting the camera. It would give off vibes like a struggling fish underwater.

From the 360 video, when i'm in the editing software, it looks like it's swimming directly toward my bright aqua tipped fins! Also it may have detected the electrical signal of the camera being turned on. Because it comes in within seconds of me powering it up!

There's literally video evidence my response was utterly brilliant. My shear fast reflexes startled the fish as it realized i was too powerful to attempt to bite.

You are swimming in the ocean and encounter a shark, what do you do: A: stay still whilst trying to make eye contact with the shark B: dive under water C: splash around and make as much noise as possible

@@SlytherSnake when you encounter this particular shark, you explode with power as it comes within striking distance. There's even video evidence that it works.

@@nicholasjordan3217 me being stationary is what attracted it. When I reacted incredibly fast within 2 seconds, i scared it away. There's even video proof!

its a bit of a dilemma.....see the shark & get the hell out of there when in fact he might just be curious; on the other hand are u triggering his hunter instinct by "running" like prey would, which by the way u may have been

paying gunna a visit again this week, out of curiosity - how far out from shore were you?

Hard to say. Maybe 300 metres? It took me 10 minutes to paddle back to shore, (no waves came) but I was a bit flustered, so didn't navigate the rips very efficiently.

You get into their environment, and then crap yourself when one shows up. I’m just surprised that it wasn’t subsequently hunted and killed for threatening you like that.
