I loved it how every shark jumped in to save these young siblings. They're doing everything right. It's just their business sense isn't dynamic. They have cracked the product and UX parts. @@Overlord5242 "Feni" is already a popular drink in Konkani region. Like in North some people drink "Maadi", "Mahua" etc., similarly it's famous there. Of course, as they said, it's a dying craft. I don't drink so I don't know how does it taste but I have heard it's really popular. Problem with us is that Indians look down upon our own tradition as if it's something shameful thing to do. Deep down we enjoy our tradition alone but fail to accept and enjoy it in public. That's our HYPOCRISY.

there is no hypocrisy here. Feni is popular yes, but not everyone enjoys it. Even I didnt like it. There is no comparison to a single-malt whisky, or a scotch. However, i agree, we should save our dying crafts and native spirits. The Portuguese took a fancy to it, so it survived this long. When we went for excursion in goa last year, all of my friends wanted to taste feni because feni is a local drink and every tourist wants to taste the local products at least for once. On that sense i think feni has already a huge market in goa all they have to do is marketing and it will become a brand very soon.
