Ok Howie… I developed type 2 diabetes when pregnant with my 3rd child. Here’s the thing I am allergic to insulin and started taking G5 for medical reasons in 2016. Ozempic is a brand name it comes in many others names. This G5 class of drugs replaces the functioning of what healthy organs should be doing. Sharon’s use of this drug for weightloss created a problem for her because she did not need insulin replacement, therefore now her pancreas and liver are responding as if she is a type 1 diabetic and hence why she cannot gain weight and is so thin. Her organs adjusted to a drug she did not need and now her once healthy organs do not function on their own. No celebrity should be promoting this class of drugs to anyone as a weightloss drug. Not forgetting that those who medically require this medicine have gone through months of shortage so those who can afford it look good with no regard for others. Vanity verses practicality will always have a reckoning. Sharon needs to see an endocrinologist stat!

She’s 71. No one who loses 45 lbs at 70 spares their facial fat. With or without glp drugs. Drastic weight loss plus older age is always gonna make you look gaunt. Period. The face fat goes first

Ozempic is going to be horrible in a few years, it doesn't just burn fat, it burns muscle...and guess what is a muscle? Your heart.

The medication did not age her. The fact that she lost too much weight (especially at her age) makes her look older. I find that white women have more of a problem with this because they want to be super skinny. If she would have stopped 15 pounds ago she would have been fine.

She's too skinny and I'm not hating because I have lost so much weight due to diabetes. It's now under control, but the doctors have said metformin can cause weight loss. I feel great though.

I just saw Kelly Clarkson and she always struggles with weight, holy crap she’s lost all the weight so fast you know it’s Ozempic! Her, Oprah, Mindi Kahling, all have gone up and down but took forever, then comes Ozempic and boom! But won’t admit it. We aren’t stupid . Khloe Kardashian is another, says she’s working hard at the gym, have you ever watched her gym routine, it’s hilarious! If that’s how why did you not get this skinny years ago? The other ones, Kim, Kylie, said no carbs and working out, that’s hoe I ruined the Monroe dress, I’m calling bull crap! My Dr said insurance doesn’t cover unless you are diabetic, $1400 per month, and the backlog is crazy! He has patients still waiting on theirs. Let’s also say these women are older, at a time metabolism slows and it’s harder to lose weight, but now all of a sudden they’re skinny as a rail!!!

Holy crap! I had idiopathic pancreatitis that I finally cured, forget the pain, pancreatitis kills! And you cannot eat anything while you have it, yiur pancreas is eating itself basically. If you have any gut issues, please do your research as I was unaware of this but wouldn't use it but what if I did??

I’m on it and the only thing is constipation and I correct it with fiber and water.

I've been on it for 8 weeks . No side effects but constipation which staying hydrated is helping. 2lbs a week consistently. That's healthy weight loss.

Every single drug you take has side effects. One of my family members has lupus and she has more side effects from her medications than the actual illness. The inflammation is in her brain so she has to stay on the meds.

That's because what's happening to them has nothing to do with that drug! And everything to do with the miracle stuff they can't acquire with ease anymore... youth that made them youthful that is.

Everyone is focusing on looks but all the people I’ve seen interviewed say how much better they feel. Idgaf how ppl look, but if it makes them feel better & fixes some of the issues they had when heavier then I’m happy for them.

In an untechnical way, they are guinea pigs because this is the first time this drug is being used for loosing weight instead of diabetes. Remember, one is an antiviral the other is for a completely different issue. Any medication will have a tiny percentage of those who may experience side effects, that's why it's important for you to do well rounded research, not listening to some crooked politicians or some group like Qanon who know nothing.

I've had 5 Covid vaccinations, last one 16 days before 1st and only Covid infection. Many lives, like mine, saved by vaccine. FAR fewer deaths than allowing "herd immunity" to let rip, hospitals now able to cope with the tail end of the pandemic which is still with us.

Google her she's been heavy especially like in the '70s and '80s. She obviously has some sort of dysmorphic disorder because she has done so much plastic surgery she should have got a shrink instead.

I think it can have a cascade of effects because it impacts the feeling of satiety in the brain. Many people have nausea and diarrhea, which can impact wanting to eat long term.

She said she kept doing more and more and then stopped. Can taking too much do this? Maybe if you take lower dosage, you can get back the weight after you stop.

Not really the drug affects the stomach. The drug makes you not want to eat. It can paralyze the stomach.

Dont be telling anyone here ...what is or what is not more risky between being fat and looking like a corpse ....you are not a doctor only a doctor can tell somebody if they need or should used ozempic ...if your doctor tells you to used it great ....but dont compare risk between being overweight and extremely thin both are horrible for the health ..but there are many instances where is better to be fat and then lose it than becoming a skelleton.

I think that's the problem with correlating all of these side effects with the drug itself in all cases. A lot of people who get on it are at risk for a lot of these side effects to begin with and it would have probably happened with or without the drug.

Because there isn't enough. Diabetics now don't get it and can go into shock. Several heard from their doctor that it's not available.

To me she just looks really deflated. She can still do fillers and all that to plump her face up again so she looks nice.
