Sharon Redd was an American disco singer from New York. She is synonymous with Prelude Records, the New York label that released some of the most thrilling dance music of the late '70s and early '80s. Redd released three albums on the label and racked up a number of club hits that have long since become classics with disco and house DJs who continue to rightly view the era with great reverence.

In 1981 this song was played at the Jesolo Lido's discotheques in summer!Such as Tucano's disco,near piazza Nember but that disco was destroyed by the fire!

OMg! I just thought about wanting to hear this song and the internet is UNDEFEATED!!! When I was 7 years old in NYC, my teenage brother would bring his girlfriends over to our house and play dance music records like this in our room! Such great memories of this time in my life when WBLS and WKTU reigned supreme with ALL the great music AND the deejays: Frankie Crocker, Paco, etc. I’m just finding out Shep Pettibone is WHITE!!! He remixed ALL the BANGERS!!! Back in the day, on Saturday nights, I’d stay up late if my brother was home and we’d use our boom box and cassette tape the “special mix” of club music off the radio! By the time I became a teenager, I fell in love with 90’s Rap. Club Music wasn’t popular anymore or cool according to my peers. Thanks to Sharon Redd (R.I.P.) for this song and the great memories of my brother kicking me out of the bedroom so he could entertain his many girlfriends by playing songs like this and calling it “mood music.” LOL!!!
