Sharon Redd was an American disco singer from New York. She is synonymous with Prelude Records, the New York label that released some of the most thrilling dance music of the late '70s and early '80s. Redd released three albums on the label and racked up a number of club hits that have long since become classics with disco and house DJs who continue to rightly view the era with great reverence.

At our boys only high school, this is one of the songs that used to make our evening on the dance floor worth it. It was and it is still a hit. The good olden days were full of exciting charm. I keep telling my children, the only good days are school days enjoy them! Out of school days are the worst. You toil the whole day for a child who is enjoying life in high school.

Inarguably Sharon's most "REDD HOT" album, by a long way, kudos to the producers and studio PRELUDE RECORDS for the very high quality of recording, to this day the music output, eg clarity and richness and balance / harmony of the many instruments on this album's songs) is impeccable.

This could be the best dance record I've ever heard! I'm baffled why it wasn't on my 'playlist' from the 80s since I used to listen to all the chart hits back then. This must have slipped through the net. Was it ever released as a single rather than just a track in an album?

She did during apartheid, even George Benson and the O Jays did visit South Africa during apartheid and Mille Jackson did.When Milli Jackson was in South Africa in 1981,people asked her about the political situation in South Africa how she felt about it.She replied and said I’m not here to discuss politics I’m here to perform my concerts and shows

Não tem funk, nem rap, hip Hop etc. Isso é um verdadeiro rythm & blues da categoria"classic" vocal e instrumental de classe. Os dançarinos de baile, os que dançam jazz, amam essa música. Eu via isso no clube que eu frequentava. Era um deleite. Música e dança de primeira. Anos 80.
