Forty two year old dad of two daughters, caught the last episode of Maid that my wife was watching and heard this song, don't mind admitting I got ridiculously emotional. Kids man, nothing like them is there

Watching the last episode of Maid and hearing this song has finally given me the inspiration to find the words I needed to write my parents. I've cut all contact with them a few months ago after not being able to deal with the toxic relationship anymore. Now I've spent the last 3 hours listening to this song on loop and writing them a proper goodbye letter. It wasn't an easy decision to make but I hope it's for the best. Thanks for this music. It helped. I think I'm gonna go cry now.

I adore this song. It always grounds me. It is such a beautiful song. I like to listen to it after a good cry, I feel renewed, like a rainbow after a storm, because I am going through bad weather in life, and know it won't be forever and this song gives me hope.
