Yes I am going through the same problems its now basically ruining my quality of life with the fear & mental Anxiety by simply going to the loo I am thinking a rather have stool bag fitted thats how bad things are for me I had a Op for piles over 10 years ago them ' last year had x 3 piles banded now back to square one with anal rips & blood & stinging from cuts like passing razor blades right now I am daily in a suicide state can't go on much more it's so Un fair

Well explained. I am also experiencing the same kind of stabbing pain and burning sensation in the anus. I already had my piles operation done a year ago. It took me 3 months to recover after the operation. One of the darkest periods of my life. Now again I have these problems. I am afraid to go to the doctor. I feel like there is a blockage in the anus while pooping. I am really scared about my future and fighting with suicidal thoughts every moment. 😢😢😢

Last year, I had this sharp pain when I tried to poop. It's like someone cutting my belly. It lasted about 90 minutes and eventually I could push all the poop out. Then, it happened a few times a month for about 3 months. Then, I figured out the cause: The excess almonds I ate. Now, I don't eat almonds. No tree nuts. No pumpkin seeds, no sunflower seeds. I don't have any of those pain for over a year.

Fissures for me are horrendous, I suffered so long. I got them under control for the time being but I have rectal spasms and stabbing pain all the time. The entire area seems extremely messed up and they’re are so many separate conditions causing so much pain!!!! I seriously can’t believe it 😞

@@beckymellon8135 the cure is Vaseline and his cream I promise you I get mine first fissure last year in September I didn’t know what it was soo I just let it be until about the end of November I started to research and I found out what a anal fissure was then I started using Vaseline and his cream and then the 2nd week of December it was gone and now it just came back like a week ago from a hard stool and I been only using Vaseline and I’m already feeling like it leavening again

I have been like a puppy my entire life. I eat I poop. Eat 4 meals usually 4 times I go. In December I started experiencing 1-2 days intermittent and wow if I had known ahead of time I would have picked out a boys name… well since that initial horrible experience the pain has been consistent with going #2. It usually feels like #20. The difference is when I sit even after sleeping all night and not going #2 the pain radiates while sitting. It radiates to the muscles in the “root” or I would guess the ischiocavernosus muscle. It lasts sometimes for hours in a sliding scale of pain from a dull 2-7 or 8. After the bathroom #2 it is a strong 9-10. I am going to schedule an appointment however my great grandfather died from colon cancer I found out the other day…. My grandfather passed away from an abscess tooth at 45 and father KIA in Vietnam at 21 so I have no idea if this is really an issue for me. I will update you on what I find out. Your video was very informative. Thank you!!🙏🏽

@@beckymellon8135 I had been taking a specific blood thinner for 3 months. So I stopped taking it and the painful issues went away. I swapped it out for a different blood thinner instead. Since then pain free #2s. I did have a colonoscopy and a clean bill of health. I do think the side effects of so much of the medication that we put into our systems effect us negatively as well as positively.

Thank you thank you for this! When I have a flareup it's all I can think about. I wish I could stay home from work until the pain is gone. I feel like everyone knows, it's embarrassing. Sir. I'm in agony and waiting for my surgery, but because I have muscular dystrophy cannot have GA so having a local anaesthetic pain/nerve block. My fissure is causing me so much distress, my numerous spinal surgeries were significantly less painful than this little cut

Nerves are probably the most sensitive in that area where neurones are firing off making the brain think that's the situation at hand. Thank you Dr.Chung for all your generous insight. I've had several anal fissures in the past and they always heal within a couple of days. I've been eating very healthy lately and haven't had one since last year. But the one I got 3 days ago doesn't appear to be healing. It's quite painful - even hours after I've had a bowel movement. It also seems to have caused a large area of red skin around the anus (with a radius of about an inch). That's never happened to me before. Does that happen sometimes with a fissure?

I do not believe mineral deficiency causes fissures. but, I do believe its possible the wound could be optimized with proper nutrition.

I had a fissure that was extremely painful. Had banding and Botox. Now it’s not really painful, but I will feel very mild discomfort in the same area for most of the day after a bowel movement. It’s not bad, just a little annoying. Do you think i still have a fissure? Or could it be healed, but it’s like scarred or something and that’s why I still get some sensation from that area?

Thanks for sharing your story. It is certainly possible the fissure hasn't completely healed. Getting the fissure checked out and taking care of your bottom end would be the first step.

I am trying to figure out if I have a fissure or something else. My symptoms are: gradual burning and slight swolen feeling in the rectal area for most of the day after a BM. It feels like its in the inside. No visible lumps ir cuts on the outside. Crucially though, i dont get any blood after a BM and no sharp pain during the BM. Does this sound like a fissure or something else?

I got an anal fissure about 4mths ago, when it happened it was the scariest thing ever. I went to the Dr (2 of them) and they saw the actual cut. Well I have been using lidocaine and it went away finally for about 4mths. Well I started seeing pink when I wiped and finally saw red on the toilet paper. Not every time and not nearly as bad as it was when it first happened, but I’m so scared because like you said your mind goes to cancer and Google doesn’t help. Can the Fissure come back after several months of everything being normal? I’m also feeling the itching (this happened last time too)

cigmoscopy dr said i had 2 hemrhoids banded fissure has healed im on week 3 i can see blood in the poop not in water no blood on paper . when i clench anus its very swollen tight, and pereneum is swollen this is very discouragin when i call his office his secretary tells mee maybe its time to get a family dr but the dr sent me to him, i talked to him on the phone he says no cancer just 2 hemrhoid banded, im on 1 month post banding and i can still feel the same as before i went in

Hi Dr. Chung, I used an enema prior to the sigmoidoscopy. And when I had a bowel movement immediately after the enema, I started feeling the burning stinging sensation. When my dr did a digital exam I felt the stinging pain. And I had a banding in the same session. It’s been almost a week now from the banding, I feel like there are thorns when I try to pass gas or whenever I have a bowel movement. Is this sounding like a fissure to you? Thanks!

really nice video, I had fissure since two days ago and it felt itchy and minor pain after pooping, also feel discomfort(I think I could describe it as distending). Today my GP had a look and told me there is a minor cut at anal, he gave me rectogesic ointment containing glyceryl trinitrate and told me I don’t need to worry too much. Btw I have a regular bowl movement, no heavy alcohol, very rarely eat spicy food and use water to wash it after defecating all the time, for years(personally I am thinking the annal is as important as eyes). Dr Chung, Do you think my issue is serious?

Same man. I legit just sat down to at least try to go to the bathroom for 5 minutes, and it hurt really freakin bad when I got up. Like it's next to the actual cut! Sometimes I can't tell if there's like 3 in there or just random pain.

Hi, doctor, my friend has anal fissure for the past 10 months. He is afraid of fissure surgery. He can't sit more than 30 minutes because of pain. He has no pain when defecating. Will his anal fissure go away after few months or he definitely need fissure surgery. Will postponing surgery lead to any complications? Please reply doctor.

When your sexual partner is an idiot and sucks on it too hard and chews on it can cause injury.... my best advice is take extra care keep clean and moist with vaseline or cocoa butter. Try refrain from sexual things with that person cuz they are an idiot, they do what idiots do and arent conscious of it!!

THIS IS WHY I CAN'T WORK! UNDERSTAND ME PLEASE! PLEASE! THIS IS SO SERIOUS, I DIDN'T WANT SURGERY CAUSE IVE HAD IT BEFORE AND I CRIED THE WHOLE MONTH AFTER SURGERY CAUSE I KEPT TRYING TO EAT HEALTHIER BUT THESE PEOPLE KEPT FEEDING THE SAME GARBAGE AND IT HURT ME EVERYTIME
