Thought Id show you guys a few games that I have picked up for the machine. Hopefully I will have it running soon and get a chance to try some of these out. A couple of the disks had some mold on them and I was able to remove it using a q-tip but Ill have to wait to see if they play alright. enjoy :)

Nice finds! Can't wait to see the X68000 in action, Luke. Definitely the Japanese computer I am most fascinated with. ...I can't believe you found Castlevania!

The boxes remind me a lot of the carriers you could buy to carry 10-12 floppy disks, back in the era where 5 1/4 floppy disks were king.

I'm really interested in seeing some gameplay off that old system! I love the case design. I have to admit though, the shape Twinbee came in reminds me why I haven't gone back and started collecting 8-bit Atari computer titles like I wanted to. Floppies from that era are just so hard to find in good reliable shape now. Good luck man, really looking forward to a full walkthrough of the 68000.

Absolutely amazing. You go out and find a near mint copy of Castlevania at random. Make sure to get a Roland sound module and plug it into the midi port so you can play it with one of the 2 optional soundtracks.

Nice score Luke, that Akumajo Dracula X68k is awesome! I'm a huge Castlevania fan too and that one has wicked cover art. I've got Castlevania Chronicles and it's great but you must be really psyched to have the original. Hopefully you get one of your X68ks going soon, I want to see some gameplay!

Moldy floppies I'll be darned. Big computer game boxes, some things are the same regardless of region lol. Tried 720p but still can't see the film but I'll take your word for it. Perhaps x68000 stuff wouldn't be so rare if people had taken better care yikes, I hope everything works in the end. Castlevania looks awesome and sounds like it will work without trouble so worth biting that bullet. Great pickups, I'm so looking forward to see everything up and running. :)

Wow I wonder how these discs hold up. I had the chance to buy a complete system including a monitor a while ago but declined because I was afraid the discs would be dead. Looking forward to seeing some footage of the X68000 in action. I regard it as some sort of mystical Japanese Amiga....

Nice Luke! =D I have played the arcade version of Dragon Buster on the Namco collection on PS1, never actually played Space Harrier before....I know....I really have to =P ahhh yes, pardon my French but Twin Bee is FUCKING AWESOME! whoa! you're shitting me! =O as with the others it seems that the Castlevania games are waaay expensive in Japan! That x68000 pick up is totally amazing man, I am super super jealous =D Take it easy Luke, and happy gaming! Dan.
