as an og ashley tisdale/sharpay fan, let me confirm that, yes, that was austin butler. he and ashley also worked in another film before this one, so they are already good friends when they shot fabulous adventure. ashley also introduced him to vanessa hudgens. austin and vanessa dated for 9 years, with vanessa even apparently encouraging austin to audition for the role of elvis. austin is also the godfather of ashley's daughter. 😂

The “Is that Austin Butler?” arc of this video was so funny. Wild to me though that some people did not grow up watching him go from Nick (Zoey 101 and iCarly), to Disney (this, Hannah Montana, Wizards of Waverly Place) to the CW (Life Unexpected, The Carrie Diaries). He was everywhere!

He was on Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide, Unfabulous, Drake & Josh, Hannah Montana, iCarly, Zoey 101, Zeke and Luther, Jonas, and Wizards of Waverly Place. He was also on Arrow season 3 as a member of the League of Assassins working for Ra’s al Ghul. 2: Austin Butler and Ashley Tisdale were in a movie together a couple years before this one called Aliens in the Attic. They are also friends and 10th cousins (whatever that means). 3: 19:14 That’s Bradley Steven Perry from the great Disney channel sitcom Good Luck Charlie.

Loved this! I saw this once back when it came out and remembered very little of it. Also, even if you guys don’t watch the show, you should definitely check out some of the other popular Disney musicals that came out around that time (Camp Rock, Lemonade Mouth, Teen Beach Movie, etc.), they’re less of a commitment and are pretty much guaranteed to get tons of views.

❤😊 also as a sidenote, there’s a clip on KZfaq of Ashley Tisdale doing an interview and talking about Austin Butler and this video that she did and she said that they tried to throw a whole bunch of Disney related stuff at him and he wanted to go into a different direction acting and he refused all attempts for them to Disney-fy him. Now in retrospect I think it was the best thing he could’ve done. I think that’s one of the things that saves. A lot of these young kids from disaster later on is that they are willing to walk away.

😀❤ so just a recap again cause I forget sometimes Ryan was in the post credit scenes, but it was so brief. I think it was only like 35 minutes and that was it from what I read online. It was only a special cut on the physical media DVDs and just briefly like a one time shot when they showed it on Disney Channel and then that was it, so I think that’s why you can only find the clip on KZfaq at this point. Which is exactly what I did.

Fun fact! Not only is that Austin butler, but him and Ashley have been best friends ever since. Not only that, but they recently just found out that they’re actually cousins!
