False they are not fighting, I have shar pei for more than 12 years the sharp pei when he plays is like that with the grunts it seems that he is fighting but it is not his way of playing

I had a gray shar pei just like that beautiful guy, maybe slightly bigger (65-70lbs). What a sweet dog he was with people, babies could feed him from their mouth. But oh baby watch him around animals. He was ferocious, he once caught a bird out of the air, he dominated the entire neighborhood of dogs. Great dog my Moses.

@@therevolutionwillnotbeyoutubed Game bred could mean one of two things. 1. Regardless if they're winning or losing a fight, they will give it their all and fight right till the end until it's no longer possible to continue. 2. They are bred for the fight or to fight.

I have a brown coffee shar pei and she just chases other dogs but overall is kinda friendly to other dogs

@@Tang526 They are very protective of family. In my experience they will kill anything that enters their turf. I have 4 sharpei and all of them get along great but if another animal or someone they don't know comes around they will operate like a pack. They killed a possum a few months ago and there was nothing I could do to stop it. Before I could get to the possum to save it they had already killed it. So in my opinion I wouldn't say they are mean but very protective and loyal.

@@Tang526 Just to add also the Sharpei sole purpose was to guard the castles. Everything about the Sharpei has defensive purpose. From the wrinkles to the black mouth and tongue. It's very funny to watch how they move and live. They train one another in fight techniques and every day I will catch them sitting and guarding. Make no mistake these dogs will fight to the death to protect you and your family.

Chinese Sharpei, if u get them from a good breeder , are a great all around dog for its size , only down side is when they get older , get super lazy

I'm see a sharpei first : I'm scared but after sharpei : They're so cute and I'm have a sharpei name amos he so calm and lazy but he die cause tumor 😞 I'm just feeling guilty with amos to next time I'm want have a sharp pei again

Lol Rottweilers play like that, provoke, run, circle back, poke, run, even with very small dogs. If a Rott is actually ticked off, win lose or draw the vets definitely getting a visit.
