I have not been able to Live without one for over 14yrs and use it every single day without fail. I have and will continue to replace them every three years bc I can not go without them. I even have three spare ones I use to cook on site for catering events. There is absolutely NOTHING that cooks food to perfection the way this thing does. It cooks exactly like a restaurant convection oven. It’s really magical. Maybe I wish they add a few new features but you can’t beat the ease of just turning one knob and pushing the handle down. No thinking required and you’re eating anything you want in ten minutes. I’ve never gone past ten minutes for anything (I keep mines on 500) and it cooks everything perfectly in 10min. Ugh I obsess this incredible machine. I cang fathom life without mines. I’m so spoiled. I will hunt these down wherever I can find them for the rest of my life! I own 5 currently. Thank you sharper image 😊🙏🙏 😊

I have had mine for at least 5 years and it's still going. The only thing we don't like is that the high rack only has 3 legs. We have flipped it over dropping many things into the bottom. Sometimes into grease. Yuk. It needs 4 legs! The one thing that is starting to go is the button that you have to press by the handle to in order for it to start but thats it. We'll be buying another one soon and I think some for X-mas for family members because we've loved ours so much! We use it a lot for rehaeting pizza, making frozen quesadillas, hamburgers, hot dogs the list goes on and on. We cook whole chickens in it and they come out fantastic! Cornish game hens, perfect! NY strip steaks from the freezer, mouth watering in 16-18 minutes!! We absolutely lit!!

Got mine at Goodwill for $15. No manual. 😕 Worked really well for some things (chicken). Kinda big for our counter since we have so many other things (commercial blender, espresso machine machine, coffee grinder, juicer). I put it away for a couple of years until I needed to replace my toaster oven (for reheating) and realized this might replace it!

I have been using this kind of convection oven for years and htey last a long time. We used ours almost every day. I just started using this Sharper Image brand which is a lot fancier than the one I used to have. It cooks well but the halogen light is way too glaring for me (I am older). I wear my sunglasses when I look at it. I have this fear that it will burn my retina.

I never saw these guys add seasonig to those frozen steaks so how come those finished steaks looked seasoned?
@timothytaylor32869 жыл бұрын
I bought one from Costco for $60.00, and I have to say it works really well. It's Sharper Image brand. I've cooked steaks mainly, and it's awesome. Although I have not tried to cook frozen steaks yet. But tried to get good quality steaks and after getting used to know how it cooks, you'd love it.

how did your light bill fair out?
@timothytaylor32868 жыл бұрын
It's 1,500 watt similarly to the a floor heater. It's really depending how often you use it. My average usage is about 30 minutes, so I didn't notice much with the bill. Unless you use it as a heater, then I don't think it matters much.
@teamlincoln378 жыл бұрын
Timothy Taylor you mean 30 minutes a day? I only use the one I had before it died(the third use) once a week for 90 minutes. Guess you have a point. Have you had any problems with yours?
@timothytaylor32868 жыл бұрын
No problem to date. It's about 3 year old. I use it about 2-3 times week. It's used mainly to cook steaks.

Pillip Wright Wright if u use it for 1 hour every day it will cost u 4.43 a month base on a 11 cent Kwh price of electricity ( it uses 1300 watts in 1 hour , so 1.3Kwh multiply by .11 =.15 cents x day x 31 days = 4.43 (4.43 in one month )

Michel Rivera I know different things seemingly works somehow for different people. Most when I see these things and I'm interested, I do a amazon search and checkout the reviews. What I see is constant problem with the bulb,the heat source going out and a huge problem in replacing it. Is that the case with you?

Pillip Wright Wright I was checking this one out. I don't have it yet .. I have the nuwave oven that I use all the time , but the ring is plastic, so very 3 to 4 months I need to order a new ring ... I was checking this one because it is glass ...

@@medravanzuyen4759 O.K. that explains it. It's been a while now, so I wonder if the Super Wave oven is still available or has new technology like Air fryer ovens (Emeril Lagasse comes to mind) taken over?
@DrLauraRPalmer Жыл бұрын
@@burkeshawno the super wave oven is superior in result bc they use convection AND infrared and NOTHING gives the same result. As a chef I’ve tried them all and they all suck in comparison. This thing pumps out juicy food like no other. I have hunted them down every single time mines breaks. I have .four intake ti catering gigs where I cook onsite. I use the new wave oven bags! They are superior as well and fit this round obtrusive oven. I’ve cooked eith one every single day the last 15yrs. When they stop working after 3.5 years i immediately go track one down bc I refuse to use anything else. I rarely touch my Emeril which sits right above it. The air fryers of today are not convection or infrared. This machine give restaurant quality food and is completely my secret weapon. This is why I have several with me catering 😊…. I wish they add a few new features but you can’t beat the ease if just turning one knob and pushing the handle down. No thinking and you’re eating anything you want in ten minutes.
