He processed the paper (mostly cellulose) into cellulose resin actually. It's stronger than wood, which is basically a mix of things. He didn't throw in the Alumina (Aluminum oxide) For kicks, you know?

This material is oddly fascinating. I wonder what the density is and how it compares to the wood the paper was made from. Also, I don’t remember him adding any kind of binding agent to it. Perhaps the binding agent that was already present in the paper was enough. I wonder how the flexibility and strength compares to that of normal wood. If anyone has any answers, please let me know. I noticed that he dry sharpened it. Was this because due to the material being sensitive to water? Or perhaps the waste gets in the way more when sharpening wet. watching this channel never fails to fill my mind with questions. you never know whats going to happen next, least of all what hes _currently_ doing or _why_ hes doing it. i keep asking "why would you do that like that" "what are you making" "why did you need to make that" "why do you have a microscope" "why are you in a forest" "why did you use river power to tumble the paper, as opposed to a rock tumbler or literally anything else" he gives me so many questions, and sometimes they are answered.
