Purchased black 0.7 mm. Overall, less smear than other gel pens on paper. Smears quite a bit on glossy surfaces, though. Purchased more. Replacing G2 gel pens that I used for many years.

I had so much hope for the Sharpie S Gel. The waterproof thing did it for me. I found out the hard way.

I bought them but after a while they get a bit scratchy or dry. What can I do? I love them but I'm a but sad

I'm sorry to hear that. I don't use them very often. There are better pens out there. But these pens are so popular for some reason.

1) take out ink cartridge, remove the spring, and stick the ink cartridge, tip down, in a cup of hot water making sure the water level isn't high enough to get into the ink cartridge hole at the top.
