Today we're going to take a sneak peek behind the scenes at Takefu Knife Village! It was a busy day with lots of our favorite smiths working away in the giant communal shop. After checking things out we went just next door to check out a couple more favorites Yoshimi Kato and Yu Kurosaki!

I bought a Kurosaki bunko on a whim. Wow this little guy cuts so smoothly. Before long I was cutting my onions too finely.

Great video, very interesting to see the layout and workflow of these shops. I'm surprised that so many of the people operating the spring hammers are not using ear protection.
