After she lost to Obama in 2008, she was so angry that she threatened to destroy the Democratic Party. That's why the party plowed the field for her in 2016: nobody was allowed to run against her, and very good potential Democrat candidates like Harry Reid retired from politics instead because they knew they weren't allowed to join the primary. So basically, she was running because she lost in 2008 and the party was making it up to her. That was her only reason.

It is a common feature of organised charities that 80% is spent on wages, travel, hotels, advertising, rent, etc. Only 20% goes to the needy, the objects of peoples giving. The Clinton Foundation was a tax free way to privide a great lifestyle. Never donate to organised charities. Give direct to the needy.

Mr. Allen hasn't missed a meal and Ms. Parnes has nice boots. But I love the interviewers comment about the press "badly exaggerated" stories about Bill Clinton's character flaws and Hillary "had been beaten up so badly by the press". Holy Christ! They never laid a glove on her. It was the press that anointed her. The press was the problem because they never tested her. She never gave interviews or press conferences. She was a paranoid lunatic. The email server which was arguably her undoing was a self inflicted wound. She knew it was wrong when she did it and she did it for the very reason that she wanted to shake down people and didn't want anyone to know about it. Basically the Richard Nixon of the left. If the press had gone after her from the git go she would never have been elected dog catcher. People forget how vicious she was to Obama back in 2008.

I’m late reading this book, but I started recently.The authors got it right; Clinton felt entitled to be president. He campaign slogan, “I’m with her“, always struck me as the most tone deaf, beltway stupid idea imaginable. Her pollsters were awful too, they told her she was “competitive“ in Texas and she did a campaign rally in the last week, but they also told her Wisconsin was in the bag, so she didn’t campaign there, even when the Wisconsin Democratic committee were begging to come. The Clinton campaign was run by the worst out-of-touch Beltway thinkers you could conceive of. An A-team of our-of-touch incompetents.

The authors are liberal sympathizers. The tone of the book (as well as their interviews) is very sympathetic towards Hillary. They seem to be always explaining and/or apologizing for Hillary's duplicity and lack of candor. Also, and I think this is key: Hillary could never articulate a reason or a theme for her candidacy. There is a part in the book where Bill and Hillary are verbally chastising the staff because they have not come up with a slogan for her campaign. I'm sorry but, isn't that the candidate's job? More to the point: Isn't that her job? Weather you agreed with Donald Trump or not he at least had a reason for running: Make America great again.

No we didn't think "unfit" meant being fat. As a deplorable, I thought Clinton was unfit to be President. I always thought I would vote for a woman if she ran for President, but I would of voted for Judge Judy before Clinton. Her stance on open borders and illegal immigrants FORCED me, without question to vote for Trump. And...since when does a popular vote win an Presidential election??? Trump won 30 out of 48 states. We are forgetting that Hilary won popular vote by about 3 Million votes and lost by 74,000 votes in three states - Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. She did not even go to visit Wisconsin. We are also forgetting about Wiener crotch photos that were reason for re-opening email investigation 11 days ahead of the election. Hilary got "screwed up" by Bill and his alliances with the other women and by Wiener and his crotch photos.

No, you are forgetting that there are 49 other states besides California. Clinton lost 30 of them.
