Check ur 3/4 clutches for damage they allways get smoked when the pump vains brake , they come out supper easy and u don’t gotta do much tear down to look at them and replace if nessesari

Look for Transtar there’s one in Phoenix i think, they sell those gears separately and all you need for those 4L60E

Even tho it’s a upgraded converter when the pump messes up metal material goes thru converter reason you have to send converter to get checked

Nope don’t need a puller. Just a flathead screwdriver. Flip it upside down wedge it in a spot and push the pump out…

my buddy blew up 6 4l60s warrantied by the shop one after another. and that was in a catfish with moderate use. i cant imagine how little time that trans will in a full sized suv.
