1/6 cord firewood bag, Mini-Me "Log Lift" bag

This new Mini-Me bag is just the smaller version of our "Log Lift" firewood bags that you already know and love.
The Mini-me has the same footprint, just shorter sides. In this video we stack up a half a face cord, which is 48 inch by 48 inch with a single row of 16 in long firewood. A traditional 1/3 of a cord is 4ft by 8ft with 16 inch pieces, so the 1/6 cord is half that measuring in at 4ft by 4 ft with 16 inch pieces. I won't bore you will all the math and cubic foot volumes, but know the new bag holds exactly what it should!
I see these bags working well for smaller tractors with loaders, niche markets for smaller quantities of specialty split for smoker wood or something, or weekend camping trips.
Pricing starts UNDER $10/bag in the smaller quantities and under $6/bag at the pallet level quantity! YES an affordable bag!!!!

They should help guys with compact tractors . I also agree that 1/4 bags may be something that folks may want also .

I wish they had gone with 1/4 cord bags. But, these will definitely help guys like myself that use compact tractors. I think they will work very well for smaller operations and specialty woods.

You should do a video loading one of those off a horizontal splitter without conveyor. Might be a good option for people that don't want to fork out the extra cash for a conveyor.

How many years do bags last

@@LeBlancfirewood that depends on a lot of factors. How you handle them, how many times they're filled and flipped, how much sun exposure etc. I think the consensus is you should get at least a couple years unless you really use them and flip them 10+ times.

Definitely fix my problems I bought ibc tanks my tractor just won’t lift one. Less handling the better. Split into bag and done.

These will be a great way to corral various loose stuff. I could see putting garden hoses in one to store them for the winter. We have a bunch of lumber scraps from a building project. The 1/3 cord bag is too tall. The 1/6 cord bag with its 2 ft height would be perfect for corralling these scraps. I could also see working with a saw mill - cut the slab wood and fill 1/6 cord totes for kindling and fire starting wood. One could also coral plastic plant pots. Right now we have a pile of loose pots until we organize the pots on 5 ft, 4 ft above ground, rebar.

hi there they look ok as well . just got my bags yesterday look forward to trying them out , have to make a holder , or re due an old bag holder . john
