"Shavkat is better than Khamzat" - UFC Welterweight Vicente Luque

Жыл бұрынIn a recent interview with Russian media outlet "Ushataika", Top UFC Welterweight Vicente Luque made the eye catching statements that he believes that Shavkat Rakhmonov is a better fighter than Khamzat Chimaev.
Khamzat Chimaev has been one of the most exciting and fast rising prospects in the UFC in recent times, and now Shavkat Rakhmonov is also quickly rising up the ranks.
Both fighters from the post-Soviet world seem to be on direct trajectories towards UFC title contention.
With both fighters sharing the same goal of winning the UFC Welterweight Championship, much conversation has arisen in Russia and Russian-speaking countries about who would win.

This is the best match up in welterweight and Shavkat is an animal but he needs a top 5 test before saying this.I see Shavkat is more technical then Khamzat for sure.And Shavkat's standup is scary.

Ok, if not touching his preference in favour of his teammate, the fact below is kinda reliable. Rakhmonov maybe better techically, Chimaev stronger physically. So we'll see who's who with right time.

Yes, Skill for skill.. Shavkat is better. Definitely better striking. Khamzat has Insane wrestling but Submission defense i think is weak.. Which we saw when Khamzat didnt operate on ground with Gilbert.. Khamzat never practiced Sambo... Meanwhile.. Shavkat has sambo skills n submission defense skills also. Shavkat has better kicks.
