yes, and stage 1 2 3 4, you can have 120hp with lot of torque! but you have to upgrade suspension etc

Hi Anthony, Dutch here. We cover custom and new wave bikes, full stop, and always have. Some are shed-built and many are pro built - and it's been that way since I started the blog in 2011, which continued to our annual shows, and now in our space and on KZfaq. Nothing has changed at all, we are just a bit bigger. ...Feel free to delve back through the archive online and you'll see builds from the likes of Shaw Speed and Custom back in 2012, and may many more. Shed-builds are fantastic, but they are - and always have been - just one part of the many things we do - along with track days, dirtbike riding, a members club, gear & apparel, events, etc etc etc...

@@BikeShedMotoCo you have to admit, the high price bikes are showing no imagination, just bits bolted together, the budget bikes are some of the best ones, and most ridable. I've been involved with bikes for 35years, and these high priced bikes, are just lame. That Shaw Sportster is offensive to the eye, and the intellengence. What's going wrong in the world?. I know 100% it's just a passing fashion, I've seen long forks, chopped frames, 40 degree rakes, Matt black paint, street fighters, and now this. Bobbers, the shame is guys are ruining future classics to make bikes that in the future will be worthless, The Bike Shed idea I thought was great, bikes that had no value being turned into something of substance, but what we are seeing now is high priced new and classics being stripped. The Guzzi I built in 95 was a ground up, with parts from write offs either painted of polished. The cost of building it was minimal, it ran rode and handled spot on, and it was legal. These things?

Your perspective is perfectly valid. All we are doing is sharing the hard work of our community, shed, pro and semi.... Some people like expensive custom Harleys, and others prefer Japanese Sheds. Our editorial strategy is pretty much unchanged since the day we started, and views like yours first appeared on day 1 too. ... As long as people ride motorcycles and love the culture, then I'm happy that we are doing a good job, but we will never please everyone, and nor should we expect to.

To me the cost of this build is irrelevant because it's a "Battle of the Kings" build, created by H-D as a marketing opportunity for their main Dealers to show-off their in-house custom builds, with a pre-set budget using a pre-agreed model. ...Having judged BOTK in previous years, this one is quite imaginative and bold, in my honest view. ...I actually like it, despite the silly tyres and lack of a front mudguard.

@@BikeShedMotoCo Dear Dutch, I'm a big modified bike fan. And it's good to see, but I think it's irresponsibly to promote bikes with suspect lighting and totally illegal from the point or veiw of construction and use. Wouldn't it be nice to see some practical bikes, made to be ridden?
