Hey, can you help me with something that's been bugging me for a while? I've noticed than when other singers try to cover Taylor Swift songs, especially the popular songs, they almost always fall flat. Like they can't get the right vocal delivery, it almost sounds like they are trying to sing too much, and most of them are supposedly better singers than Taylor, and are one of the best singers in the world. But most just fail with Taylor's songs, especially I Knew You Were Trouble and Shake It Off. They can't get all the words, or seem like they are beginners, or seem like they are struggling, when they really shouldn't. Can you explain why, I find it very interesting. To be fair, when you’re a teenager, writing about your exes is probably the easiest way to come up with something cohesive and emotional. Plus, music acts as a way to document our lives, it reveals our scars and helps us to reflect on the shit we’ve done in the past.
