Yay I am so glad you did this one. Like someone else said these are based off of voicemails that Ivan left. But the way I heard it, is Ivan has a bad habit of getting inspired in the middle of the night and calling the guys in the band. So the bandmembers all got voicemails or answering machines, I believe so that they wouldn’t have to be woken by him all the time. The speaking parts in the song from Ivan are supposedly the original answering machine messages, they loved them so much they put them in the song. And they are a favorite but not necessarily THE favorite.

This song reminds me of something that happened to me when I was 17 and I'm 45 now if that gives you a reference but anyway everyone would tell me the most painful things put it on my shoulders for me to carry and it sometimes seems like too much and a good friend of mine one time told me when I freaked out about it that the reason why these people put this on you is cuz they're not strong enough to carry it themselves but they see that you are and from that day forth I don't question it I don't ask for it to be less I don't run from it or hide put it on me I'm stronger than I've ever even known I can do it and if I stumble and I fall then at least I'll know what my limit is but I haven't stumbled yet but I will say I'll smoke a lot of weed to forget a lot of s*** love you all have a great day
