That is a great idea, about using the chapel. We would love to talk about doing something like that, and have you all down. And next time you are down this way, maybe we can meet there and eat. It's not far from Mayberry, at all. Just a few minutes south. I think you all would really like it. Yes, they really have kept their prices within reason. Although, we did catch some mistakes in what they charged us, as we were rewatching the video and going over the menu today. I am going to contact the restaurant just because it's the right thing to do, and let them know that we were actually undercharged. I didn't do the breakdown until we were watching the video today, and pricing the items on the menu as we watched. I thought that price was kind of low, but didn't really look inside the ticket to see what all she had on there. If you notice, it was folded when she gave it to us. I just thought the price was reasonable, and we paid it, plus left a tip. But after figuring it up today, it wasn't correct. I don't know if she just forgot to charge us for certain items, or if she gave us the wrong ticket, and gave someone else our ticket. We were undercharged by about $14.

This is a great, great place to eat. We wish it was closer to us. Glad that your niece had the experience of being married there.

The actual name is Mount Airy, North Carolina. It is just a few minutes north of this restaurant. They have a Mayberry Days festival every year in September. You can check out our Mayberry Days video from them. It's where Andy Griffith was born.

No, we have never made a reservation. I'm not sure if they accept reservations, but it wouldn't hurt to call and ask. We always just show up. You may have a bit of a wait, though. It has never been bad for us.

She did not buy it. I was mainly wanting her to hold it up and show the design, although I think she would have looked nice in it. We actually totaled up what all we got today, and we were actually undercharged. We did not realize that at the time. The items that we bought were not printed out on the ticket. I'm not even sure what we weren't charged for. In the closeout, I said that I thought we were about $10 to $15 dollars under what we would have normally paid, and I was correct. Our bill should have been about $63 before tax. We do not know if she simply didn't charge us for some items, or if she gave us the wrong ticket. When we were re-watching the video, we stopped at the areas on the menu to price what we had gotten, and there's no way our bills should have been that low.

We want to be honest, and I certainly would have pointed it out then, had I noticed it. I just thought it was a low price, but didn't really question it further until we watched it today. Also, since our server's name is on there, I don't want to get her in any trouble. I may just message the restaurant and tell them that I think maybe our tickets were switched with someone else's. They'll probably say not to worry about it, but it's still the honest thing to do.
