In the 80s my daughter helped to set up the stage equipment for him He was very nice to her. She said he was very insistent that the band members not drink, smoke or curse. before, or during the show. Very strict.

There's a video where James Brown talks about Elvis I don't know if they were friends but he use to visit James so I'm pretty sure he picked up some of his moves 🎹

Inspite of the nay sayers on here Elvis stole from James Brown as well as Jackie Wilson little Richard big Mabell and other black entertainers he was famous for that.

Elvis stole his style sound from a black man. look it up his name is Otis Blackwell, and he stole from a lot of other black artists women, and male

Always got this version slow groove live as better than the studio version...but the one JB did with Pavarotti might be the all time best version
