Brian does a good job interviewing, getting the guests to talk and knowing when to back off not interrupt. It was nice hearing Ronnie have a real conversation again, , his meds seem to make him too groggy usually, he seems to be doing better

Love seeing Ronnie here. _____________________________________________ People I'd like to see on the podcast: Mitchell Hooper Iron Biby Big Loz The Stoltmans Brian mentions politics sometimes, it is definitely not the focus of this podcast, but... I met ronnie when I was 15 or 16 at the Arnold classic 2006 in Colombus Ohio I never saw a human being that size in my entire life. And what was cool about bodybuilders, they talk to you and be normal people to you. instead of like a football player or famous celeb who won’t talk to you and act better then you. Ron was and is a regular guy and I love him for that. Wish I would of been older when I met him so we could have talked. I was scared of him I was still a young man lol

@hardway1746
@hardway1746 7 ай бұрын
Nothing spectacular. Fell into a career in public service when I was 18. Multiple surgeries on my spine, knees and hands. More offered. Ran quite a few bad calls then all of a sudden all the bad calls over the years started coming back and bothering me. Causing problems. I asked my employer for help. They laughed and said they couldn’t do anything. I quit that day. Started seeking help on my own. Was diagnosed with treatment resistant ptsd. I started lobbying with law makers to change the laws to include mental illness as an injury the same as a physical injury. Ie: you fall outta the back of the ambulance and sprain your ankle. You’re covered. You develop PTSD due to the job you’re screwed. I stuck a gun In my mouth but didn’t pull the trigger. We sold our home and everything we owned the second before we lost it all to foreclosure. Moved my family to another state and started a new life. Many don’t make it. They succumb to the illness/disease. Help is advertised as being readily available to first responders needing it. I can assure you first hand it’s not.
