After entering the professional ranks in 2008, Texter was faced with a harsh reality in 2011 - either start winning - or quit. Against all odds, Shayna chose to continue and began racking up the wins and eventually landed herself a spot on a factory race team. I had no idea she is the winningest singles rider ever. Coming from 5th at Springfield,at the white flag, to first at the checkered flag is a Dale Earnhardt move on 2 wheels. Go get that championship Shayna.

Is there a full documentary about her Red Bull career? Because I'd like to know when her financial system turned around, and when they spotted her and helped her. Her story is an obvious movie script that Hollywood should pickup right now. It's such an inspiration, and to know she had to deal with her father's loss too.

Wow thank you for not giving up. You could of said no. You Could’ve said I don’t have my dad or my grandpa but will you loaded everything up and went to Knoxville Iowa and you won. And now You are here and you’re not going away if you think you can win a championship you will because you can I know you’ve been training at the Baker factory. Continue the program is proven just like yours always continue to grow just like your grandma said it’s all that matters. Props to you.... Originally from South Africa, a close friend used to race sprint cars and he raced a bit in the USA....we used to go to night racing and another close friend raced flat track.....huge respect!

My uncle used to race Harley Davidson flat track. He passed away 8-22-21, and then exactly 2 months to the day, 10-22-21, my mom passed away. Rest easy both of you. You're both sincerely missed.

OMG..Grandview Speedway!!! I used to get cycle work done down the road right behind the track "West Cycles" he was the mechanic for independant Flat Trackers..Bultaco's and the last I saw was a Honda v4? He's is/was a vary great guy. I bought a Hushy 504 fore stroke from him .

In some racing venues they spend millions of dollars to protect racers from hitting a solid object like a reinforced wall or pole. They pad it, put up tires, foam walls, rubber barriers, water barrels, shock absorbing materials of all kinds. I noticed when they were racing on the Sacramento track, the barriers on the straights were just steel bars. Sure they put up a few hay bales and plywood on the corners, but if anyone lost it on the straights and went off to the outside of the track....it would be a meat grinder. Yet, that doesn't slow her or the other racers down a bit. There's so much more to this sport than meets the eye. What's inside is what really count.
