The Shaytards Christmas special is one of my favorite Christmas traditions each year!!

I can’t believe I’ve been watching y’all for 15 years, seeing everyone all grown makes me so emotional🥺

SO EXCITED when this popped up!! Thank you all for sharing your Christmas with us once again. One of my most cherished Christmas traditions. ❤

I’ve been watching Shaytard vlogs since Gavin was in kindergarten. The ending gave me chills. A funny, giggling, dancing little boy has grown into a man. I’m now pregnant with my first child and I hope I’ll be as loving, strong, and kind as Colette. She’s handled motherhood so beautifully over the years. Such an inspiring woman to young moms ❤

I cry everytime Gavin sings, that man stole my heart ❤️ a loooonnngg time ago 😢 miss him! I can't imagine how his mama feels! Everyone looks fabulous, another Christmas Special to rewatch every year! Thank you Shaytards! Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄

After basically growing up with this family, I cry almost every time there’s a moment with gavin. Every year I rewatch all of the Christmas specials and this one just feels different without him. We miss you gavin!!!

I'm 18 now, and have been watching you guys since I was probably 6 or 7. Your Christmas specials have always been my favorite. I feel like I grew up along side all the kids, Especially Avia, Brailee and Emmi, because I'm closer in age with those three. I love your family. And Thank you for being a huge part of who am I am today. I feel like you guys helped raised me

The family is all grown up 😭 I remember watching when I was Brock’s age. Also Gavin has an absolutely brilliant voice!

Sweet Gavin at the end singing got me so emotional!! He seems like he’s matured so much in such a short amount of time.

This brings back so many memories of the early Christmas vlogs. What a change, all the young’uns now grown…but still having fun with old traditions! Gavin looks like he’s matured years in his short time away already… the clip at the end brought a tear to my eye, you all must be so proud. Hopefully not long now until his return! The “hey I’m vlogging here” intro holds so many memories / nostalgia I can’t cope!!! I started watching in 2009/2010 I believe … crazy seeing how grown up the kids are etc. ugh just love you guys!!!

41:36 really got to me for some reason. I remember being a young kid watching shaycarl videos and Gavin making occasional cameos. Now he's all grown up and ugh so am I. Time flies. Funny enough I've befriended some Mormons over the past year and sure enough they're everything I would've imagined after years of watching you guys haha. Just so obnoxiously kind and down to earth and fun to be around. Anyway. Your videos have touched many lives. Thanks for still being around even if it's less and less. It's meant a lot.

As a grown man who grew up with this family and waiting for their Christmas specials to drop to watch it to have that feeling of happiness and safety in a family, I literally almost cried when I seen this Notification of this video !

We sang 6 songs during our service. It was great. I was sad when I realized I’d have to wait until after Christmas to watch this. Thanks for sharing your Christmas with us.

Every time I watch the Shaytards Christmas special, my heart fills up with so many emotions. This family was a bright spot in my life when I was really struggling. During my pediatric residency, when I was fighting anxiety and depression, their videos were sometimes the only thing that made me smile. I felt an even stronger bond with them when my first child was born 9 days before Daxton. Those Christmas specials became something precious, something I waited for all year. I'm deeply thankful for the joy they brought into my life. Now, seeing some of the kids already grown up and leaving home, it makes me feel sad. It's like a reminder of how quickly time passes and how important it is to hold onto every moment. Thank you, Shaytards, for all the joy and the smiles in the times I needed them most.

I've not watched a christmas special in quite a few years, thought i'd come back and have a look, and WOW the kids have grown up so much! The girls are gorgeous (Colette's smile still out shines them all though) and the guys are getting so big! Shay, you had one hell of a come-back in life and you truly inspire me to follow a better path. I hope your family has good health and fortune going into 2024.

This is my 11th consecutive year watching! This year’s special felt very reminiscent to years prior. The amount of memories I personally have with a family I’ve never met in person is quite incomparable, from when you guys went to the gym on Christmas Eve to when you all sang karaoke, when Logan was on his mission and Shay read aloud Logan’s letter while grandmatard cried and when Shay got Gavin that huge helicopter, just to name a few, looking forward to many more memories that we all get to share together.💙💛

Literally couldn't wait for the Nostalgia of the Shaytards Christmas special this year, it's crazy to see how much the family has grown, new babies, new partners. It not the same without Gavin. The Shaytards Christmas special never fails to put a smile on my face! I’m 24 and started watching when I was around 13 or 14, it’s crazy to see how much these kids have grown up. The ending with Gavin singing almost brought me to tears, I can’t believe how much all these kids have grown and it makes me realize how much I’ve grown as well.
