Seeing the flashbacks really takes me back to sitting on my laptop after school every day watching you guys wishing I had a big family. I started watching before Brock was born now i'm 30 and Avia's graduating ... mad!

Wow where has time gone? I’ve been watching for the past 13 years, it feels just like yesterday I was watching Emmie get stuck in the bathroom. Now Avia’s graduated and I’m now expecting my first baby, feels like a whole other life. Congratulations Avia! And thank you Shay and Colette for being our internet family 🥰

I don’t know if Avia will read this, but I always told myself back in the day when she was knee high to a grasshopper that if I ever met her I’d tell her exactly how special it is to be so strong and willful. She used to get a lot of people telling her she was bossy and “too much.” She’s not too much. She never was. She’s a strong, wonderful person and I am so lucky to have watched her grow into the person she is today. I’m so excited for what the future holds for her. She’s going to do GREAT!!

"Time crawls by so quickly" That's something you told me a few years ago when I said Dax has gotten big, and its stuck with me since, I think about it a lot and its true, time crawls so fast, in the moment it feels like time is crawling then you're in the after and you realize how fast that time went by. You are a father to your own kids but you've also been a father figure to many other people out there who grew up without one present, thank you for that. Everyone messes up, but everyone can grow, and you grew unlike my dad could. Much love Shay.

Neither of my parents came to my graduation for either HS or college. Father also never came to any of my baseball games. I largely raised myself. So this is one of the reasons why I watch the Shaytards, because I KNOW this is how a real loving family is supposed to be.

I have been watching the Shaytards vlogs for about 13 years, seeing those flashbacks makes you realize how fast time goes and to hold onto those moments forever. In a blink of an eye, everything changes for the greater good, kids grow up and they are living their own lives. This family is my second family and I am so proud of everything this family has accomplished, the ups and downs of life you still continue to smile and make others laugh, and not only that but to teach us lessons. I’ve been tuned in since I was in sixth grade (at least eight years ago) and now I have graduated high school, college, and have started my career. I’ve seen some of your families ENTIRE life so far and it feels so special to be a part of it. Thank you for letting us into your wonderful life and sharing ❤

I remember Avia having always been super fearless and inspiring. I still remember when she wanted to be a cop to help people, and the clip of her at church where she did a speech in an empty room about being kind to people. We can't wait to see her follow her dreams and continue to inspire and help people through her work! You guys did a great job fostering the independence and compassion in her and should be as equally proud in yourselves as you are in her, on who she is today.

I graduated 9 years ago and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve stopped, restarted, etc. You grow with time, and growth isn’t linear. But you learn so much as time goes on. I’ve watched you guys for the passed decade or so and watching them grow is insane, they grew so fast. I feel kinda old I graduated 3 years ago (not long but doesn’t feel long ago though..) best advice to give to newly grads is live in the moment, take everything one day at a time. Don’t rush everything, take rest when needed, adulthood is kicking my butt but I’ll get through it!💕

I'm also a part of the Class of 2023 and graduated in May. It is such a beautiful moment where you can see the path open up before you. Once that tassel is moved to the right, you are already taking your first step on your set path. I am starting college this fall at the beautiful Westwood campus of UCLA. It's amazing how fast children grow up, and Avia is absolutely no exception. I am so excited to see what the future holds for my Class of 2023!! 🤩

As a little girl who got to grow up twice once through myself and a second time through Avia and Emmi this was a hard one to watch. It's been 8 years since I graduated and I remember that year the kids got out of school before me and I saved the vlogs up so I could have a mini shaytards marathon when I finished school. Life is so strange and so is time and what we all mean to others. Thank you for giving us so much of yourselves to the point that we can feel these emotions with you and that you've all become apart of our memories.
