You did an excellent job. You saved her hair. You performed a small miracle. Her hair was damaged... you cut the appropriate amount. Your client needs to leave color alone or have a professional do it for now on.

Quarantine boredom had me bleach my natural hair and put a rinse on it. THANK GOD my hair was not damaged. Just got me a good trim and silk press and my hair still going strong.BTW her cut was bomb ! I love how a cut makes your hair looks so much thicker and healthier immediately.

I’m so glad your hair did not get damaged! Make sure you use color treated shampoo and use a strengthening conditioner to help with the at home care for your hair

@@Savedbythestylist I understand it's not on purpose (if there is a hairstylist burning people on purpose, they need to be arrested!) But I am still not going back to someone who burns me, at least not for a silk press. If its the person I've been going to for years, than we'll just have to switch to rods, because you get ONCE to burn me and that's it.

There is no truth in your statement. If I am paying a professional, I am trusting him/her not to burn me or damage my scalp or hair. This is how misinformation is spread. However, accidents do happen.

Many hair services require a professional cosmetologist service. I respect all of you hair professionals who have the patience to correct hair problems instead of enhancing healthy hair. Please charge accordingly.....the more the correction the higher the cost. Her remedy is a hair cut as time goes on. The chemical damage is not repairable. Her beautiful hair WILL grow back!

@jackie Wilson Stop applying the apple cider vinegar to your hair. It is stripping your scalp of its natural oils.

If I wanted to be careless and burn myself I'd do it at home. There's no way I'm going back. I didn't go back to a stylist cause she was trying to take my scalp off with how tight the cornrows were, but then I'm getting burned yeah I don't think so
