I met a US soldier in Afghanistan while I was in the Canadian Army back in 2010. He lives in California, but he is from Oaxaca. He invited me to go back to his home in Mexico. From what I've seen, Oaxaca seems like a beautiful place. I will go one day. The people seem very friendly. Cheers from Canada.

To all the latinos, You can be proud … !!! I live in Belgium and during the many years I went to the US for my work, it’s with Mexicans and all the Latinos that I got along right away perfectly… !!! My dad being Italian- Tunisian, (my mom Belgian-Dutch) , I got the same education, same family values, same kind of food from my Mediterranean/ african side, same chill attitude … ok , I have to say as a French, italian speaker it was quite easy for me to learn Spanish as well, so it helps ;)… But I love you guys !!!! And I understand why Kurt loves to travel to these parts of the world so much !!! I’ve already been to Mexico, Cuba, y la Republica Domenicana and I just loved it !!! The easiest way to learn a language is to go where it's necessary to communicate. The locals always love it when you speak their language even if you're not perfect.

I'm glad that you enjoyed your time in Mexico. Most people in Mexico will take good care of you. They'll feed you, clothe you, and even shelter you in their homes if needed especially if you're a tourist. Don't be afraid to take a gift from a Mexican you'll just make them happy to accept.

I love Mexico, the innocent part of Mexico is such a wonderful experience, it’s a shame how the whole “cartel” gangs make Mexico be a little frightening. September is our patriotic month and watching this video made me feel nostalgic because I can’t be there… I was born in the US and have the privilege to go back and forth, come to the US to work and get money, go back to Mexico to be with my mother, it’s hard being somewhere else and leaving everything thing you have. Great video!
