I would buy an album of her songs for EACH year from Norway GT to the present. Which year is best??? I could listen to every song no matter what the age. Imagine hearing AT LAST or THE SHOW MUST GO ON at several different age levels. Like a good author who can write a series of novels all of which could stand alone.

What really amazes me, even more than her incredible singing, is how comfortable she is on stage. Even as a little girl, she just seems so relaxed and at home on stage, in front of cameras, on television. No sign of nerves, no hesitation, no need to calm down. She just turns it on and goes. And how much fun for her to take us with her. She's good at whatever genre she sings but when she returns to her first love of jazz, she's just incredible.

This is at the level of Garland, Clooney, Horne, Fitzgerald, Day and all the greats of the past that performed with big bands and orchestras. Angelina's singing always puts a lump in my throat and a tear in my eye.

I can well imagine that the audience was stupefied to learn that Angelina was only twelve years old. I can also imagine seeing jaws dropped and eyes popped when realizing her performance was that of a thirty plus year old seasoned professional. The orchestra is simply outstanding and they accompanied Angelina beautifully.

I don't know how much Angelina changed the music but she is signing the Quincey Jones arrangement of Fly me to the Moon.

Angelina is not "World class", Angelina is "Master class" or I used to say "Next level event" before I realized "World changer" and like the few before her, I believe this one is just in time! Remember, it's not just you & I she touched!

Quincy Jones said Angelina was the best young singer since Michael Jackson. If Quincy were more familiar with Angelina's journey, he would know she was more advanced vocally than Michael in the 6 to 12 age group. Michael's first hit with the Jackson 5 was "I Want You Back" in 1969 when he was 11 years old. Angelina had a large catalog of songs before age 11 and she was mostly a jazz singer which is more difficult than pop.

A-Aron, I think the LinkedIn version was 2 years earlier when she was late10, almost 11. She impressed a lot more people in the music industry than Quincy Jones. Quincy already knew how good she was, that's why he invited her to open his 85th Birthday Concert, but many in the audience knew nothing about her.

Question: did Angelina plan on throwing out that little 'enhancement' before she hit the stage? or did it just freely happen as she sang along with the band? Remember that time when Angelina wowed the orchestra conductor while singing, IT'S A MAN'S WORLD? He just turned towards her while conducting with an expression of surprise and joy. I bet Angelina will do more of those kinds of 'enhancements' as her stature rises.

The following is not an 'Angelina' video but, one of European jazz singer, Caro Emerald, who also sang for Quincy, and that was immediately following the appearance of Miss Jordan, singing, for example, 'Honeysuckle Rose'. At the conclusion of this event all the performers got together for a 'group finale'' where they would sing together for Jones. They held a preparatory rehearsal earlier in the day and that is shown here at about 1:25. You can see Miss Jordan, for a few seconds, standing next to Ms Emerald and you can see her closer up than what most other videos show, including her hairstyle, somewhat of an 'Amy Winehouse' look. She later changed to a floor length gown for her performance. Many Angelina fans have not seen this video but will be thrilled to have these different views, nonetheless, brief as they are. So much of it has to do with the purpose of her being here with us to sing for us. What we are seeing and listening to defies logic. As soon as she starts to sing we are drawn into her world and we feel her soulfulness and for those precious moments the warmth in our heart takes over and we are in a state of paradise. BUT, remarkably, it doesn't end there! We carry her soulfulness with us in our everyday lives and we are finding out besides her vocal and artistic genius, it's 'who she is' that touches us so profoundly. Through it all during these 18 years she's with us she has remained a humble, kind, caring and loving human being who particularly cares about children who are less fortunate and for ALL of us to begin to love one another. A tall task, of course, but most of us will openly state our lives have changed since we discovered her. We are, indeed, kinder, more caring and loving than we have ever been before in our lives. She has had a tremendous affect on the older generation because of her desire to sing songs from the past 70 years! And, it must also be noted she has given new life to many older folks who were beginning to feel like they were losing direction in their lives and, instead, rekindled their enthusiasm to live a life with rewarding results interreacting with people in their world. The diversity of her music has begun to incorporate a more up-to-date sound with the purpose to attract a younger audience. And once she has them 'come aboard' she will be introducing them to music from yesteryear and many of them will begin to feel music like they have never felt before. In closing, she has no boundaries, no limitations to who becomes a fan (an 'angel') of her. Gender, age, color, language, religion, occupation, wealth, musical preference, she touches everyone. It certainly sounds like there is purpose for her to be amongst us. She is inspiring us to be the best we can be as human beings and we, in turn, do our best to introduce her to those who have not discovered her yet. When we do that we are so happy for them because we know what's going to happen. Will they act any differently than we did when we discovered her? only Angelina...

But when we exaggerate, it is there.....Angelina is right there, she is the real one to exaggerate about. There are other great artists obviously, but then there's the gifted ones, destined to become legends. Lets hope Angelina will become one since the industry is crumbling, it won't help her. You said something toward the end about the audio being dubbed, but no, what you were hearing on this video was the live audio. This live audio was dubbed onto the rehearsal video because the sound wasn’t picked up well enough. Remember what I said earlier that you should watch the video of her backstage before this performance and as she came off stage. Also, you can’t see in this live video, but Quincy was sitting right in front of the stage to her right, and so she gestured to him at the end-“You!” On her way to the mike, she stopped and spoke to hm. You can see all this on that backstage video.

Angelina did not get credited in the playbill. The names of those performing and/or attending was a whos who of show biz fame. She was not really "significant" enough to listed. So she's not just singing for Quincy but for a audience of greats. Does she come off as nervous?
