So true. Look at those in Miami demonstrating against their own country at the Jamaican Consulate. But, they have no grouse against Ron DeSantis who treats black people like garbage and taking away all their rights. It is so shameful, unpatriotic, and just boggles the mind.

A dry cleaning local business would do very well in the local areas of the island including ironing etc. they could then pick up the clothes already done ✅ the employment increase in these businesses would work magic. Totally agree. They also make a beer brewery for Mangoes, here in the UK they don't grow mangoes, but they brew mango beer from Somerset in England, mangoes don't grow in the UK. Jamaica is very resourceful but they need the drive, there are no advisors to trigger the monetary avenues and encourage fruit farming in the island. Every fruit can make a Cider.

Throp, you mentioned in your interview with AfricanTigress that you would like to see a high school built in Negril. In my opinion, far more important would be a hospital. For the locals for sure, but also for the tourists who are partying which paves the way for incidents. Since Negril has such a high repeat tourist reputation, a billboard on Norman Manley Blvd., showing a graph of donations could possibly feed on itself.

We don't need a billboard begging for money. Contrary to people's beliefs Jamaica is not poor and destitute. The government can built that hospital and contract the work out to the Chinese like they are doing for the children's hospital in Montego Bay. We don't need charity. How embarrassing.
