I can see Candice with her Fedora and green typewriter in a black and white movie smoking a cigar writing up an article for an old time newspaper 🎥 📰 🤣🤣🤣

As a G.I.Joe, transformer, and diecast collector I'm so jealous right now. I wish I could find a deal like that. Fantastic score in my book lol.

Hi Lonnie & Candace! On the typewriter, the lock mechanism, when activated, will let the carriage move until it reaches the center position and then it will lock into place. Hope this helps.

Hi guys you know when you get boxes of all odd bits of toys like the G.I. Joe lot and there are odd cars in there what i used to do is save the cars up till i have about 50 or so ,i does not matter the condition ,but i used to list them as scrap yard cars and i used to get good money for them mostly from people wanting to restore them

The Walther P38 Transformer is the decepticon Megatron. It's not complete but definitely one of the most desirable figures in the line. The weapon that Candice pulled out of the box could have been Destro's from the cobra faction. Really good pick ups! I wished I had a source like this and Guy near me.

Eventually, bending ROMEX will indeed weaken it and then continuing to bend it will cause the copper wire inside to break. How much bending it can take really depends on the gauge (size) of the copper itself. 😉

I fix old typewriters as a hobby. The carriage lock disables the keyboard in the centered position, so the case will close without moving the carriage moving in the closed position. “Western Germany” indicates early 1960s. Value is at least 150, with significantly more if it has a “cursive” font,, or some other unusual one.

43:45 The term "Western Germany" was used in parallel with "West Germany". The term "Made in BRD" is also occasionally used. The term was used from around 1949 to 1990. After the division of Germany, "Made in Germany" was used again in both East and West Germany. Until "Made in GDR" (German Democratic Republic) appeared in East Germany to distinguish it from the West. After that, "Made in West Germany" and "Made in Western Germany" were used in the western part. "Made in Germany" was used from 1887 to 1945. During the occupation, "Made in US Zone" was used from 1945 to 1949. "Made in Germany" has been used again since 1990.

Lonnie Haas to be doing this in purpose. There's no way you didn't know who that gun was. Great haul great video. That g1 Megatron looks like g1 before g1 a really good find. Did y'all see Candice pull out the USS FLAGG parts or accessories really good haul. Lots of g1 stuff. Nice getting those memories back of the toys we love...

I know you know this already, but maybe your listeners don't -- my son sold manual typewriter and had to refund because buyer claimed he didn't pack it correctly. We didn't know you should stuff the top with packing material. Buyer claimed that all the keys were messed up from jumping all over the place during shipping.

Me watching this video: “Oh I loved smurfs! I wonder what happened to my collection.” “Maybe those are mine, haha.” “Wouldn’t it be wild to be watching a video and recognize YOUR box of childhood toys?” “Oh, we had that pistol transformer! And those jets… And those gobots… HOLY $”?&: I THINK THAT IS MY ACTUAL BOX!!”
@dzapper72 ай бұрын
The romex thing is what you would call an "armature" sculptors use them too. As for all the toys, now I know what my mom did with all of those. Also those knock off robots as you called them are GO-BOTS. The big Transformer plane Jetfire, has double interest since it is a toy from the Macross anime series (known as Robotech in the US) that was rebranded as Transformers when they blew up in popularity, that is until Macross also became popular in the US. FWIW mine is still in the styrofoam packing.

Hey guys, You often say "You just listed that yesterday..." and you always sound surprised? If a regular viewer sees what you bought and they are interested in the item, they wait on pins and needles for you to list it on your eBay page. I often do that when Lonnie gets a new bunch of comics to list. Most of the time I miss when you list so I loose out (Even though I check your page twice a day. Great Video, and tell Pipin I said hello.

Had to laugh watching Candice pull little bits and pieces out of the box with Transformer planes. Having found everything from pins, razer blades and syringe needles in such boxes, I now tend to take a lid, like the top of a copy paper box and dump the contents out, into the lid. That way, no matter what comes out (lint, dirt, dead insects, coins, Lego bits, etc) it’s contained in the box lid and little pieces don’t get lost or fall behind the bench. The size of the box lid also makes it easy to push around the bits to see what is there. I also use such lids to do the initial sort, putting each type item (small cars, Transformers, etc) in its own box and they stay there grouped up until it’s time to clean and photograph. It’s also easier to shift off and stack box lids, if/when I need to clear the bench mid-task, to do something else. I use the same technique for sorting estate jewelry boxes, junk drawer lots or bags of label/hat pins (like your Walmart pin). 😉

Guys, just a little pondering here... you (lots of other youtube / ebay sellers) have mentioned recent multiple videos of having bad sales days, which is due to ebay's wonky algorithms which we (as sellers) can't rely on, and as a great way to prevent bad sales days why not really thinking about starting a whatnot live page. You 2 have an amazing and loyal following that you won't struggle in your first show and further shows. This is your primary method of income, so having a realization of having a slow sales day is never a good thing.
