Loving the videos. The pool is a water mirror by the way, so you can see La place de la bourse in it. It’s beautiful in the evening. Next time you’re in Bordeaux pop by if you need a place to stay.

Oh my god ! I have been watching you for months guy but never stumble over your Bordeaux video (I currently live here). That's amazing ! You should come back to visit the whole wine region surrounding it ;) In June, the city will actually celebrate wine (an event called "La Fête du Vin"). I'm sure you already made plans for that time, otherwise, that could be a nice one to have !

Just watched this, next time if you do get burnt doubtful you will do that again, use vinegar to take the heat & sting out! It works! Your welcome!

Lol my cat used to always climb into the bathroom sink and she’d drink out the tap. Poor Allison that looks so painful!!

Ouchie! I hope it wasn't too painful. I guess redheads have the tendency to burn pretty easily as well. But oh that kittie was sooo cuuuute!!! My late cat (her name was actually Kitty) used to do exactly the same with the tap :)

Oh my gosh, I used to live near there! Also if you ever go back to southwestern France I definitely recommend Dordogne and Corrèze for their cave systems and paleolithic cave art, Carcasonne in Aude, and Rocamadour in Lot.

I got married in a small town called Noirt in France in 1996 to my ex French wife. A few days before we went to a beach near Bordeaux and I got the worst burn of my life.

Yeah, most people in the West don't realize how harmful the sun is when your skin is fair. In general, and in the long run, it makes white people look older than their age (in average), and you have the risk of skin cancer.

I know this video is six months old, so if you read this comment maybe it will help. On sunburn I read many years ago that if one eats no sugar two days before being in a situation where you would sunburn and no sugar two days after you would probably not sunburn. I did not really believe that, so I tried doing it both ways, sugar and no sugar. No sugar really did work for me and I sunburn very easily. It probably does not work for everyone, but it is worth doing the test that I did to see if it works for you. I really like your travel vlog. I am watching them from the beginning, so I am a little behind. Thank you for the extra work that you do to give us a quality vlog of your travels.

Allison, do you ever get uncomfortable traveling with men other then Eric? Doesn't you feet hurt with sandels? When you get a sunburn use cidar vinegar .
