A woman arrives at her new workplace, a school, which looks very bleak and empty. This is her first day teaching in this school and she has a hard time searching for her designated class; 4E, but with the help of a student, she eventually finds it. The class consists of a bunch of noisy and arrogant students. However, she ignores all of it and starts teaching, just like she has done all her life. And in a matter of days, she starts getting used to the students. However, one day, when she chats with another teacher, she learns that class 4E, which she had been teaching, doesn't exist. Scared, the woman rushes to the place and finds that the teacher was right. The class is empty, and it appears as if it has been like that since years.

Why? What's a Teachers salary where you are. MOST Teachers in my area in Western New York make way more than most of the parents of the children they teach. And thats for someone who only works less than 10 months a year not counting vacations and time off. Also, most of the schools are failing compared to the national average. So we pay more in school taxes for sub-par teachers who are more concerned about their paychecks and benefits than their job of basic éducation. And don't get me started on the whole useless woke bs.

Jennifer's perspective is of 20 years ago. None of the actual students harasses or bullies her. The DonDon in her thoughts is also a ghost or somehow, the only ghost or the ghost of the past. All the characters (except her parents and the real principal and those arrested her) that he sees isn't real or ghosts. She acts normally before the students. But in her perspective isn't the same with those people around her. Her vision and thoughts were fabricated by the ghost.

This neatly lays the groundwork for a sequel (or a prequel), extending it, turns this into a franchise.

okay so i'm guessing DonDon is the one who got bullied and set the class on fire 20 years ago, and wanted 14 kids dead yet again for some probably petty ghost reasons. but wanted someone to frame (for fun? to avoid the school from getting the reputation for being haunted so it doesn't get desolated and she can repeat this again in a few years? beats me) and she picked jennifer. on d-day, she got inside the head of 14 other innocent students and brought them to the classroom where jennifer could kill them with the screwdriver, which also explains why they didn't resist. her killing chung was probably a favour return lmao. thats what i think at least.

Don Don wasn't stopping her from going back to school. It's a reverse psychology, Don Don's real intention was her to go back to school. In a different sense, maybe Don Don wants her not to go to school because she would kill the students. However, Don Don, might be the soul that's possessing her to get revenge to the bullies and those images were projected by Don Don in her mind.

This voice is computer generated. I didn't know this. Thought he just mispronounced things occassionally. Omg I wanna have a chat with the writers. edit : It seems that she was being possessed from the very beginning. The students are not actually ghosts. Don Don was the real ghost. It high school in Hongkong Like Grade 7 is called FORM 1 IT 4E mean it Grade 10 Primary school is called P1 to P6 mean Grade 1 to 6 Secondary school is FORM 1 TO FORM 6 mean Grade 7 to 12

Because I have lived in atleast 11 nations around the world from different continents: USA, Israel, Australia, India, UAE, Oman, Germany, Switzerland, Singapore, Ireland & the UK. In all these countries: When you say Class 4A or 4B or 4E ( the A, B, E being sections of the class i.e. 4th grade) - it means 4th grader i.e. someone who is anywhere around 8-9 years old. They sure as hell do not look like 17-18 years old as in the movie. I had no idea that people in China or HK have such a weirdly different system to the rest of the world.

I would just like to say that I really appreciate these recaps. I love the plots of supernatural stories cuz they always have really good stories.... but I get nightmares really easily and can't watch them.
