I hope that if it was a man in the same situation as her, you'd feel that way. Men are usually the breadwinners in traditional families, which is the case for majority of the families in thailand. I believe men in crisis usually suffer in silence and suck it up....they don't have the intrinsic value of women like her to be recognised as humble and hardworking.

No doubt she's highly successful. But what's equally amazing is the things that haven't changed. She still lives at the same apartment where she started. She still uses the same food cart and scooter that was probably handed down from her father. No matter if it's rain or shine she is always cheerful and smiling. Her only desire is to support her family and spread joy. The reason Puy is so popular worldwide is because you cannot find someone like this. Puy is down to earth and a real-life angel through and through.

According to the news, local government has a designated area for them but nobody wants to move because they will earn less money. The street that they now sell foods is always busy with local people and tourists. However, many Thai people complain they want their sidewalks back. These street vendors place them in danger. Some pedestrians have to walk on the streets due to too many sellers, buyers, and lines. Worse, blind people can’t walk through this street during busy hours. Also, before the street vendors go home, they never clean up really good. They always leave trash, oil residue, garbage and many of them pour or throw their garbage and used cooking oil into the big main pipes through drainage gates or man holes. These clog storm drains and cause flooding. Moreover, very early morning, people see huge rats coming out for foods. Now, Bangkokers pressure their local government. They say they pay taxes for their capital, so they can enjoy clean, orderly, and beautiful spaces. If you saw the news, you would see these street vendors physically attack the municipal polices and screamed at them. Some street vendors even threw themselves to the sidewalk and blamed on the municipal polices. Many Thai don’t feel sorry for these street vendors because they only enjoy making money without paying taxes and rent (Minimum wage is 300 Bahts a day but the vendors can make 1,500 Bahts or more per day) and they don’t care if they cause trouble

Hello from New Zealand. Absolutely gut-wrenching to see this wonderful lady end up this way. I own a cafe in Auckland city and have had the real pleasure of employing a young lady from Thailand as a chef. She was such a wonderful wonderful hard working person. After 6 years with us she moved onto other opportunities promising a brighter future (with our heart felt blessings) . We still keep in touch. Sadly for her things haven’t quite worked out the way it was promised to her by her new employer. I really hope things workout for this wonderful lady. Of all people she deserves a break.

i am a chef from australia. i've been watching videos of this woman and honestly she works more cleaner and efficient than some of the cooks i've worked with. i would 100% hire her. Australia actually has a chef shortage and she can apply for a visa to work as chef in aus. lots of restaurants in australia offer work sponsorships and she won't have trouble finding work as a cook anywhere.

Great, but if you or your male associates decide to get women companionship there, please ensure to pay properly according to the deal for the services. There're tonnes of complaints of your people behaving so cheaply in fucked up ways by not adhering to the deal. Just pay the women properly for their services, they're not doing it for charity.

It's heartbreaking when you have someone who is working hard to provide for her family and it's proving to be not enough. She seems to be a very honest individual who loves what she does. It doesn't matter what country you're from, the Governments will always look to make life as hard as possible for the common Man. It's disgusting. Puy seems to be in a better situation since this video first posted, I am happy to see her being successful in what she does. She is such a hard working woman, waking up at 5 am to go to the market and rhen prepare the roti dough. Then she's out working all day and not going to bed until 1 am. And then waking up the next day at 5 am to do it all over again. I don't know how she does it, I need my 8 hours of sleep. That's why I admire her, for her perseverance and positivity. It breaks my heart and brings tears to my eyes to see such a hard working person as she cry, but she seems to be doing better now, and I pray that God smiles on her and continues to bless her. Bless you Puy.

การขายของในที่ห้ามขาย จำได้ไหมว่า กทม ใช้เวลาเท่าไหรสำหรับทำให้ กทม สวยงามเป็นระเบียบ แต่ก็กลับมารุกล้ำทางเท้ากันอีก และคราวก่อนตอนที่ เทศกิจมาจับ สงสัยอยู่เหมือนกันที่มีผู้ชายคนนึงตะโกนว่า " ไปเอารูปนั้นมา " แทบจะไม่ต้องเดาเลยว่ารูปอะไร พอจะเก็ตเเหละ เเล้วพอมาตอนนี้ จะฝากให้คนทั่วโลกช่วย เหมือนเอาเรื่องของตัวเองไปประจานมากกว่านะ รู้สึกไม่ดีจริง ตอนเเรกๆที่คลิปดังระดับโลกก็อยากไปอุดหนุนนะ เเต่พอมาตอนนี้ไม่โออะ มีอะไรซ่อนอยู่ในความคิดลึกๆของเธอ ... อย่าเอาเปรียบสังคม ด้วยคำว่า จน ทางเท้าเป็นที่สาธารณะ ทุกคนมีสิทธื์ที่จะได้ใช้ทางเท้าอย่างสะดวย ถ้าจะขายก็ควรไปขายในที่ทางการจัด

เป็นการจัดระเบียบและคุณก็จะอ้างว่าขายมาหลายปีแล้ว มันฟังไม่ขึ้น ผู้ว่าคนก่อนจัดระเบียบไว้ค่อยเรียบร้อยดีกว่าจะทำได้และอีกอย่างผู้ว่ายุคนี้ ปล่อยและตอนนี้จัดระเรียบยากละ การอ้างที่เยาวราช ยังขายได้ เพราะ เพราะมันเป็นแหล่องเที่ยวและมีการบริการจัดการและขายเป็นเวลา ผมเชื่อเลยบริเวณที่คุณขายมีคนอื่นและมีแผงขายของมากขึ้น ผมก็เข้าใจนะว่าทำมาหากินซึ่งตัวผมเองก็อยากก็อยากขายของเหมือนกันเลย ทุกอย่างมันต้องมีการควบคุมแลจัดระเบียบ ถ้าปล่อยไปไม่มีใครทำอะไรเลย ฟุตบาทจะหายไป คนใช้ทางเดินจะไม่สามารถเดินได้เลย มันต้องนึกถึงส่วนร่วม ด้วยเช่นกัน ใช้ทำแลที่คุณขายดี และทำให้หลายคนมาขายตามคุณและมันจะมากๆๆๆขึ้นเรื่อยจนควบคุมยาก บ้างคนอาจมองสองมาตรฐาน มันก็มีหลายประองค์ประกอบนะ บรืเวณนั้นขายได้บริเวณนี้ขายไม่ได้ การอ้างว่าจับคนทำมาหากินทำไม คุณต้องเข้าใจด้วยว่าเพราะอะไร ถ้าอ้างเรื่องจะขายของไม่ได้ฆ่าคนตาย มันคนละเรื่องกันนะครับ โปรดเข้าใจ

I have lived in Bangkok during my childhoodand went to school here as a falang 😅 so i know I had allot of privileges! But I every single day how hard it is for the locals to have a reasonable living and human living in Bangkok! The street food sellers in Bangkok are one of the most hardworking people I have seen in my entire live!! They sometimes stay till the early morning on the streets. I had to support her immediately. @@dhitima100fires9 Thanks for providing context. Here in Indonesia, we also face similar issue. Street vendors sell their wares/food without seemingly aware of the need for public facilities. I personally hold nothing against them because I know it's really hard to make a living this way, especially where I live. However, many of these street vendors end up occupying spaces reserved for pedestrians and people with special needs. Since the sidewalk or unmarked lands on which they operate have barely enough waste collection/drainage infrastructure, the waste they leave behind everyday cause environmental problems. The government is often pressured by those with deep pockets to gentrify areas lined with these street vendors, and physical altercations between street vendors and the authorities have broken out during relocation attempts. The underlying issue is almost always the same; the new designated vendor location is either difficult to access using public transport and/or have relatively poor/fewer public amenities - making the new place unattractive to visitors and causing the vendors to lose prospective customers. FYI, decisions where I live are made top-to-bottom. So if the ones holding the power are unaware and/or actively ignore crux of issue, then any policy in effect will replace one problem with another, at the expense of others. So placing the blame to the street vendors or the field officers of public safety dept. does nothing, if not very little to address the elephant in the room. In the middle of all this, honest, hard-working people like Puy are caught in the crossfire. It's a sad reality, but until people can empathize and think about others, I don't think that this issue is going anywhere, anytime soon.

@@FehNu simples Man, ela vende essas "panquecas" na rua, porém a prefeitura da cidade quer que eles vão para outro lugar, porém esse outro lugar o aluguel é bem mais caro, e também ela não vai ter os clientes já conhecidos e regulares que ela tem nesse local, e ela tem filhos pra cuidar, provavelmente é mãe solteira também, e ela também cuida pai dela que é velho e doente, resumo ela quem sustenta a família! Ela saindo desse local vai ser bem mais difícil pra ela.

Esos panqueques que hace esta hermosa y guapa muchacha de huevo y plátano, se ven deliciosos 😋 me gustaría algun dia probarlos todos..!! Al parecer tienes algunos problemas por lo que comentas lady pancakebanana, no llores porque los vas a superar todos querida, ya que eres una chica muy trabajadora y muy empeñada en lo que haces, eres una mujer muy amable, además a todos les gusta mucho tus pancakes y ya tienes muchos degustadores en tu cartera de clientes..!!
