I am Thai and I can tell that she is really polite! Every time she speaks Thai, she always say kâ which should be said at the end of almost every sentence in order to be polite.

This side Lisa is really imitating i love this coz you can see that she didn't care about her image i think lisa know that being strict will misunderstood by many people but lisa really wants to train the girls to become successful idols "tough love"

The industry that these trainees aim to enter is the most MEAN, and it's not for weak people. If ever they become one, how can they survive? Lisa is preparing them. Lisa knows what she is doing, coz she's been there. She's been handled by too many mentors since she was a child even before YG, so she knows how to play with it.

Lisa is being a mentor and professional, if in order to get the best out of these trainees she needs to be strict then she is doing her job correctly. Haters will say that she is just being bossy because they created the image that female idols have to be cute in all situations. Lisa is being responsible for her role in this program and trying to help these girls develop as artists.

Someone said that she should be nice to the trainees because they are just starting lol honey most of the trainees already debuted in another group or are recognized for something and 95% of them are from a company and 5% are independent most of them trained for more then 3 years and so far there is only one that only has 4 months training they should know the basics already this group has to be ready in 4 months there is not time for lisa to make friends and actually Lisa got a lot of recognition in China most of the audience is praising her for taking this serious since we know her as the funny or the goofy of blackpink .

I still remeber about my Indian dance teacher. He used to be so stric. I started dancing at the the age of 4. Lisa is not at strict, I mean he was 90% more stricter than Lisa. I used to go to the classes at 5 pm and used to return at 7:30. He used to make us correct every dance step. He used to strike us with a bamboo stick, it was not abusing. Then he used to make us jump 100 times, that was my punishment and now I get 1st prizes in every dance show

I also dance but in school and other competition but small.BUT dancing is a "BODY OF SOUL"you have to put your facial expressions on the bet of music and movement that you dance.Your face shows give an extra flavor to your body movements..Eye expressions should invite people to believe and be interested in ur dance.!

being a mentor is not the easiest things to do, not to mention when we are mentoring our own friend or people older than us. I've been mentoring choir team & at the same time being substitute of my vocal coach that can't attend our classes sometimes. so I really understand Lisa's position. Lisa had my applause for not being sugar-coating & just straight to the point yet polite enough. that's all those trainees needed cuz they only have less than 4 months left to prove themselves as a deserved idol.

My most memorable and most cherished mentors were the ones who were strict, detailed, determined, and helped me to be better at what I did, may it be in piano, fencing and in my studies. She was far from being strict if I'm going to be honest. I've had instructors scream at you, and make you repeat the same technique over and over until you're exhausted. She was there as a teacher not a babysitter lol

isn't that a factor that mentors aren't supposed to be nice all the time, what's their purpose if these trainees are already doing great already? that's their part as mentors: to correct and harness the "trainees" for more. these little drawbacks are just small compare to what they have to do after debut, everyone will be a judge in your growth as an idol/artist, if u ever experience practicing for dances or such performances, these things really do happen, it has to be "always" this way. And as u watch the other epiaodes lisa can also shown being nice to the trainees who she knows that they've been practicing alot, she even hug some of them (bad guy team, lucky souls)

Lisa is hard, I know... but if, in the art I'm better at that is singing, I was singing emotionless, I can have the best voice ever but don't really reach the goal a singer has and that is to move the public... and also if someone as experienced as Lisa says "oh, it's okay, don't worry, just try it harder" people would think "I'm actually doing good but now I have to do better" and the idea is to understand that this is THEIR JOB, if you are performing poorly in any kind of job then you get fired... this is the same, you get fired and they get someone better than you, even though you are able to do even better than the new acquisition... it's about understanding that you HAVE to be the best and you HAVE to be in synergy with the team!

you need to give tough love to be a teacher. Or they will never take you seriously and will always think they can get away with things. But at the same time I think she should have given them some praise, praise the things they are doing right. Because if you keep proding at all the negative you are making them insecure, and that wrecks with your self confidence. Just need a little bit a praise every so often.

Her standards are super high, that is how she got to be where she is.

9 of those trainees will debut as new girl group. She’s mentoring soon to be idols and I think her teaching is good it shows that she takes her job seriously and professionally. She’s not that even strict there are some mentors would straight up yell to the trainees.
