The first time I watched this episode, and that bit of Promise kicked in, I *instantly* recognised it and was on the verge of tears. And that was a pretty good indicator of how the rest of the season would go.

I didnt recognize it but I was crying. It's not until I was rewatching it that I realized it was the Promise theme and it just felt like a punch to the gut

may I also offer: in promise, catra sees her younger self , forced to reflect and chooses to go down that path. in corridors, catra sees her younger self when she CHOOSES to reflect, on her own terms and chooses to try and fix what she did all that time ago. corridors really feels like a follow up to promise in many many ways and I love it so much. I'm so proud of this angry cat girl

I love this show and everything about it so goddamn much, especially the music (which is really underappreciated tbh, so when I found the official soundtrack I just. Listened to it over and over. Mostly Promise though. Anyway I was really sad because there’s so much good music playing in the entire show, especially in the later seasons, and we got… not a lot of it. So I went to youtube ofc, and found these, and I’ve downloaded like four of these tracks onto my drive so far but I really need to get around to adding more because there’s so MUCH goddammit. So yeah, I hope you got through my weird long comment without getting too confused. Thanks for getting all this up here!

OMYGOD Starting at 1:38 is the best music in the whole series, and the second best scene in the whole series. I was sobbing hysterically watching Catra's literal redemption happen before my eyes!!!!

technically Prime would have killed Catra after she betrayed him but bc he wanted to use Catra as a bait to lure Adora into the trap so that's the only reason he kept Catra alive and in ep save the cat when Catra is no longer useful to him he killed her immediately.
