@@TheGreater-ScopeVillain Horde Prime may not have been as nuanced and complicated as Catra, Shadow Weaver, or Hordak, but that didn't make him any less of a PHENOMENONAL villain. Lines like this prove it.

i know we always talk about how much catra suffered in this episode,, but- i'm so so sorry for adora for having to witness everything. 🥺 whatever she went through is extremely unappreciated, i love her so much.

Watching the person you love literally die in your arms (without realizing that you DO love them that deeply) is just so heart wrenching to me....Adora has NEVER looked THAT horrified at hitting Catra, worrying about the additional pain she's inflicting on her, nor has she looked that terrified FOR Catra. The fact that chipped Catra is smiling when only Horde Prime is allowed to show facial expressions, while Adora is visibly horrified and disturbed throughout the entire fight reminds me so much of the tragedy and comedy theater masks....because to Horde Prime, this fight is comedic entertainment, whereas for Catra and Adora, it's tragic. They really put their best animation and efforts into polishing this episode and it shows!

3:18 The music right after Catra falls, the reprise of the theme that plays over their childhood flashbacks but slower, like it's fading away. Clinging to life. It's understated. Sandwiched on both sides by bombastic, thunderous crescendos. Just a few simple, slow notes, but it's the most evocative moment in the track. I hear that part and I can't help but feel my heart ripped from my chest. I really need them to release another volume of the score. It's just that good

I don't think catra was ever any less than dora was. I think both of them held very high ground and accomplished things no one ever has before. The reason why catra was so obsessed with winning was she had convinced herself that she was weak and didn't matter. Her and adora really carried out this whole story

The first ones made She-ra a weapon of might to serve their conquest, a tool for tyrants But at 4:00 and 5:50 Adora made She-ra a force of protection, to protect her friends and others, the bane of Tyrants Every time from now on that she transforms or taps into her powers, it’s always to protect others. It’s also the start of numerous headaches for Horde Prime.
