The revival of pop-punk needed a big name in that music genre to return and bring it over the top so I think in 2022 when her new album is released will be the year pop-punk will return to top 40 radio and on top of the charts. This is a banger for sure! Reminds me of "Under My Skin" album era of Avril's.

I'm 60 years old, My teenage daughters grew up listening to her, So I was exposed to her a long time ago! I liked Avril Lavigne ever since! I'm happy shes back with new music! She sounds better than ever! and all the Reaction videos such as this one all like the song! It's really refreshing to me that her music isn't another cookie cutter song with Rap, Hip Hop influences that IMO don't really come off sounding original or even creative! Avril's videos have also always been top shelf productions, and a video that actually has content to do with that actual song, Unlike so many other artists songs that are just a bunch of random shots that really don't have anything to do with the music.

Avril kept releasing albums up til around 2012/2013 or so, but then fell really ill about a year later with Lyme Disease which took her out of the game for a long time with recovery. She stopped making music for about 5 or 6 years but came back around 2019 I think it was, with a new album, but the album was a lot more personal and was basically her way of dealing with all the shit she had dealt with over the years from health issues as mentioned to her split from her second husband. She has though spent a lot of time raising money for charity in that time as well through her own foundation. This song though is a return to her catchy pop rock (I don't really think punk was what she does) of the early years, and hopefully the album will follow this style with her usual knack of a great ballad or two as well.
