She's got me building nightstands. Pt. 2

This is part two of a rustic nightstand build. These homemade nightstands feature barn wood drawer fronts and a plywood cabinet. The feet are made from maple. The night stands are built over size so they can double as dressers for clothing.

I paint maple all the time. Maple takes paint really well! I really like the drawer fronts. Cool project.

I wasn't sure when I saw the colour but when the drawers were fitted it all made sense. Very good!

Great Build Ryan. You are right about those drawer fronts with the Tongue and Groove Pine, those draw fronts look great with the contrast to the rest of the build. Well Done. Barry (ENG)

Gotta admit, dropping the board down onto the table saw blade never occurred to me. I know the safety nuts will get all concerned, but IF YOU ARE CAREFUL, that's a really cool idea. I'm not big on rustic but these look nice. Really like your videos man. Thanks Eric central Florida

I really like the drawer fronts it ties the whole thing together. Very stylish nice job on the drawer fit. Wish you would have spent a little time on the drawer fitting because it looks great.

Great project. Looks great in that color. Only thing I think I would change is to cut groove off and put a clear on the fronts.

great project. I love the design! I build my dresser from hard maple and painted it white. Maple is one of the few woods that paints real nice

the time was well worth it imo. they look very good. I agree the miters were the way to go. looks like one big piece and not joined together. the barnwood turned put great and really sets it off. thank you for the video

I like both of them and if you don't watch out she'll (the boss) have you in about 10 - 13 years put them end to end and cut a solid top to make it look like a dresser. Hey, you guys have a Merry Christmas and a wonderful 2017. God Bless my friend.

I liked the color, and then the drawer fronts went on and I didnt' like the color anymore. I think the fronts are great though, and I like the exposed groove.
