My husband and I have been married 48yrs. It all started with a blind date and then a wedding 6 short months latter! Those short engagements never work out so we’ve agreed if the next 50 yrs aren’t ANY better than the last 50 yrs, we’ll call it quits! LOL!!

My mom saw my dad walk into her Art class at High School and said to someone “I’m going to marry that guy” And they got married shortly after that and were married 53 years when my mom passed away in 2011. This past February 15th would have been their 63rd Anniversary.

One of the many reasons that I keep coming to see Grandpa, is that he is so humble and kind. There are other channels that get angry when anyone suggests things in regards to their animals, but Grandpa, he is selfless, and it's all about his animals and what's best for them. He may already be aware of some of the things that people suggest, but I've never heard him, or seen him, react in a way that makes viewers feel bad for trying to help! Thank you for being you Grandpa!!

Thank you for your prayers..My dad is on hospice now and not doing good.. I feel like I will be getting a phone call anytime.. I love the soothing voice you have with the chicken.. 🙏🙏🙏 I pray for your peace and understanding as your Dad us Actively Dying and can fill your heart with heartwarming memories. I helped my 93 year old Daddy when he was Actively dying... for several days & nights, I had told him it was ok with me to let go & move on to being with his parents, one of my brothers & my niece not quite 3 month old daughter Amy, from many, many years ago and all of the other McGraw & Robbins families he knew. It was his peaceful transition @0213 on the Thursday a.m. that set his soul free. Sometimes the people dying wait until all are around, or none are around... I am a Retired RN with Home Health & Hospice care experience (+ many other kinds in 38 years) and firmly believe the passing on of their soul is another part of this earth's journey for us.

Love how you relate to all the critters. As a Mississippi farm girl (from many years ago) have had those times and lived to “tell the tales” with chickens, pigs, dogs, cats, horses, cows, mules and few other animals. Grandpa keep on singing…love the songs. You and Grandma raised some great sons. I see where their sense of humor, singing, joking and just loving life comes from. As mother of middle age sons, know the challenge it takes. Always feel like visiting my long gone relatives when seeing you and family. Good bless you!!! And yes, those grandsons are a hoot!

They are NOT going to go after their own eggs. Try this: when you use your eggs, save the shells. I use, and reuse, a 1 gallon freezer bag. When the bag is full, give it a few squeezes, to crush up the shells a bit, then go dump it in the chicken pen. They are smart. If you do it separately from feeding, they figure out real quick when your bringing the "treat"

Great job on the new pen for Bella and Olivia. Lola wanted to stay and be their Mama. You take such good care of all the animals. I have never seen piggies stand up on their hind legs before! They are two little cuties, for sure! Try elevating the drinking water for Bella and Olivia so that it is head high - they will probably bypass it to wallow in the larger one if it is not easy to climb into the smaller one.

Actually eating dirt is good for them. It contains the iron they need for their bodies. That way they won't get sick and need a shot of iron

Hey before you let them out please put hotwire on the inside of those hog panels so they get trained to it. It usually only takes a week but if you just let them out they will run right through it. No matter where you put the water bowl they will always lay in it 😂 my 350lb kune kune lays in his tiny water bowl even though he has a wallow, it’s amusing. My female kune is really sick right now and no clue what is wrong with her but I’m trying everything I know and if she’s not better by Monday I’m going to call the vet and pray they see pigs 😭 she’s my baby so I’m praying she pulls through.

Awe y’all are so sweet and thank you for the prayers. I’m hoping she pulls through, I just wish I knew what was wrong but I’ve given her antibiotics, oral vitamins and electrolytes and I can get her to drink water when I bring the hose and she drinks it straight from the nozzle so that makes me hopeful. Going to give her some mineral oil in case she’s constipated, she threw up yesterday morning.

Hi Grandpa!! Olivia and Bella are just cleaning off in the little dish before they get in their pool so they don't get their pool water dirty, like some folks do when they have a pool 🤣. I just enjoy you with the goats they really push things, the chickens I think really enjoy your singing oh fog horn join’s right in LOL Smokey has really gotten picky 😄 the little piggies love those grapes Lola seems to not be aggressive with them that’s good she likes being spoiled too. It's always nice to watch you do the feeding chores. I really enjoy your soft voice when talking to the animals. It exposes your relationship with them. It was fun to see you catch and medicate the injured chickens. While they fussed being caught they calmed right down in your arms. I think they know you'd never hurt them. Even Shortstack knows. He's becoming a big boy! I enjoyed hearing how you met your wife, but you sure did take your time to ask her out. It's so nice to see a wonderful family who goes to church and isn't afraid to profess their love for the Lord. God Bless the Dos family. 🥰❤🧡💜💙🥰🙏🙏
