She Tipped Me $100 When I MOWED Her YARD For The FIRST Time

This is one of my favorite properties to service on a weekly basis. The tall fescue grass is lush and green, and it always turns out looking very clean after we mow it. When I was initially contacted by the homeowner, she told me that her yard hadn't been mowed in a few weeks (this was in the crazy spring growing season). I arrived and noticed that her yard was over 6" long and her previous lawn guy hadn't kept up with the edges. It took me an hour and a half to fully cut, trim, edge, and blow everything. She was so pleased at how it turned out that she tipped me $100 on top of her regular service rate. We've been her lawn guy ever since!

It was great seeing your day to day job, your are definitely keeping your customer's lawn looking good!👍......On a side note, you shared with us that you had made a rookie mistake by not noticing one if the blades on your mower was bent until you got home. It was a breath of fresh air to know that you had gone back to the property and corrected the cutting issue, it showed that you are a man of integrity and your work ethics are top notch, God bless you and keep up the good work❣️

It is better for the lawn and environment to mulch the clippings into the lawn. If the lawn is overgrown or leaving clumps of grass, than it needs to be bagged. This lawn wasn't long enough or wet enough to need to be bagged. Some customers prefer bagging it though.

Next Generation is in a different state and an area that has deterioration. His list for places that need help include schools, daycares, senior centers, kids playgrounds in any location. It is a nice condition to hear that your area is upgrading into better shape as well as the number of people you have personally offered help/comfort to. (Chuckle, I was eyeing what looked to be trimmer pattern on the fence and you put on a comment it was related to the prior lawn contractor.) Attractive end-result, with everything groomed and neat.

Mixture of mowing is fine by me...ie regulars and nonpayments. That lawn is great now after your tender care. If you are going to be her lawn carer, I have a suggestion for you. Grass is a little bit patchy in places so am suggesting she gets yard scarified and reseeded next Spring while there is growing time before winter. I dont know if you offer this service but she would have time to search. Even grass gets tired. :)🍃🍃

I think this was so different from those crazy dusty dirty yards, this was a change for the better. It's true that you can keep healthier and saving your lungs 🫁 by doing these cuts. I loved this yard. This is how yards are supposed to be but, I understand some people can't afford lawn svc or are too sick. Anyway this lawn looks great! Thanks for sharing.
