You need a telescoping magnet (they're small and thin) to get what you drop in a crevice in an engine. Pretty cheap at Walmart, auto parts place, Amazon, other places. This 60-yr old lady doesn't work under the hood without one close at hand. (Constantly knocking sockets, bits, small parts and things that manage to find their way to the smallest crevice of the engine.)

I despise having to set up new electronics, especially when it involves internet. Good luck with your internet/wi-fi. If possible, leave the space under the stage empty until you have the mice under control. It will help with not having to move everything stored there in & out to get the traps and bodies out.

Jeremy. I used to own a small neighborhood bar. The previous owner drilled a hole thru the cinder block to run a drainage pipe for the keg cooler condensation. Mice would get in thru there. I tried everything to block their path...they would chew thru the cinder block and make the hole bigger! Nothing worked until I used spray foam. They didn't seem to like it and never chewed thru it. Maybe that'll work for you. Love you both....and George George too. Thanks for the daily calm and laughter. I look forward to watching you guys everyday.

Good to know. I moved in with my best friend at the beginning of COVID to take care of him. The biggest issue was a rodent was going and coming. Traps and sticky pads took care of one, but I had to clean cabinets and fill holes with odd things. I wish I had known about spray foam doing the trick. I know they will return, so I will definitely be getting some foam to have just in case! Thanks!!

Thanks for another amazing video and a good laugh like always. I was admitted back into the hospital 2 days ago cuz my vascular Disease and lupus started to act up again and caused a massive infection that has gone to my chest and lungs from my veins bursting from the inside out. It's been a very hard battle that I'm fighting and very emotional knowing my 3 kids are home crying not knowing if ill be okay or not so these videos always help me take my mind of my problems for atleast an hour a day..Was so happy to see that all the items I sent made it.. Gotta let George George know I'm sorry he opened the backpacks from Me and I said 20 for you and 20 for George so he wasn't able to get no points. Lol.. Was quite funny but I felt bad. Lol... Crystal, I hope you are soon on the mend and that your children have you back home soon. Find old comedy t.v. shows to watch to keep your mind occupied. I went through a terrible illness in the early 2000s for six years and my husband sat with me while we watched all the episodes of MASH, Everyone Loves Raymond and Seinfeld. Those shows made all the difference.

I suggest you stuff steel wool inside all those cracks along the bottom of the walls to prevent the mice from coming in that way. You probably won't find all of the places they get in but will prevent a lot of them. Just a thought. We have done this with our camper and it works great.

Hey you guys just a suggestion I live in East Tennessee we not only have little gray mice but we also have little brown field mice with super long tails and they're super smart super fast they won't go on any glue traps or regular traps so we have a local co-op that sells a pellet product that instantly disintegrates the carcass of the mice that way you don't have to smell the bodies or anything like that but it's not prepackaged nor does it have a name or brand but you have to ask him for it and they sell it to you by the pound literally we used it for the last two seasons and have never had a mouse or stink after one has died it only takes about 48 hours for the whole entire carcass to disintegrate into dust but if you have a co-op near you you should check it out it was only like $12 a pound and you only need a couple pellets in each place just a thought liking you guys new house videos thanks for sharing your life with us can't wait to see more storage lockers though going to be very interesting once you have your own and then you don't have to go anywhere to collect them when the people don't pay

I believe the car companies make everything intentionally difficult for the home "shade tree" mechanic to do so that people have to take them to the dealer and pay with arms, legs, shirts off their backs, etc. That's an expensive way to fight mice. Just put a drop of peppermint oil on each of a bunch of cotton balls, then throw the cotton balls around where you want to get rid of the mice. Pleasant smell (if you like peppermint) and keeps them away. I've used this for years. Homeownership.....never-ending "fun". LOL

I had a problem with mice in my car that I wasn't driving! I went online and read an article about keeping mice out of your house. One thing that I found out was that mice hate the odor of mint! It recommended that you get Altoids (the breath mint that come in a tin) and crush them up in a blender! Then you spread them around wherever you see signs of mice and around the openings that mice might be getting into your house! I tried it by spreading some in my trunk and around the car! I let them sit for about a couple of weeks and repeated! I didn't see any after a couple of weeks! IT WORKS!!!!

Since remote controls seem to get "lost" or misplaced so often I came up with a system and attach a piece Velcro to the back of the remote and the side of the TV and the the blue ray/DVD player and its remote as well. After our grandson took the TV remote outside and left it in the garage after hunting the house for 3days this was my best idea of how not to lose it. It might hep you if you were to buy a unit with multiple tv's or to make sure the littles don't hide it when they are all over. I like the mounting system of the TV, looks awesome!

I have seen first-hand how relentless mice are when it comes to food. I set a snap trap (that has a small reservoir in the center) with some peanut butter, and left for my night job. Upon my return, I noticed that not only did I catch a mouse, but it's face had been eaten off by another one, just to get to that peanut butter underneath it! What a brutal sight! On the bright side, I knew that I had to set the trap once again to catch the face-eater (and did!).

For that Alexa, you need to add it through your existing Alexa application on your phone. It should be fairly simple and quick, from when I did mine…FYI the speaker on those ones is very poor, it is great for asking Alexa to complete tasks like “turn on the lights”, etc. but otherwise it is not like the Echo Dot’s you have for audio quality with music.

I lived on a farm for over 20 years. We had a variety of animals over that time period, but we ALWAYS had chickens. Typically in the country if you see mice, you also have rats- especially due to the animal feed. Glue traps don't ALWAYS work for rats, it depends on the size of them. Not to be gross, but we used glue traps once and a rat that was really big got loose of the glue trap leaving its tail and one foot behind. So you MAY want to also consider the old fashioned wooden traps for rats. Hope that helps!

Use five gallon buckets to catch the mice. You put bait in the bottom then lay it around outside. Lean a stick from ground to top of bucket with a string going across top with another short string hanging from the middle of that one. The mice climb the stick. go across stick and down string trying to get to food. They drop down inside and cannot reach the string to climb back up.

Needless to say, one found it’s way in and I cornered it behind the entertainment center. We put a trap out to catch it, it did. My husband couldn’t handle the poor noises that he made and was going crazy. I am with you, Jeremy, no moving into my house. No free loading. I am highly allergic to cats so that was out of the question. It would’ve been nicer that way. After we caught that mouse, I called the exterminator and asked him to set traps in my garage and around my house. I refused to go into my garage until all of the noises stopped and the exterminator said that he got them all. 😁. I should’ve just gotten me a couple of snakes and let them lose in my house (non poisonous, of course). I don’t mind snakes but my family dose and it would prove to be an exciting few days.

When will you travel to Florida? Will you stay for the winter ? It hard to manage to 2 properties and run your business out of both ? Hope you can ! I'm super happy to see you both succeed in all that you do . Will Christian and Patience at one point go and do there own thing ? I have to admit you guys have great bosses! Jeremy and George Thumbs-up 👍
