That building is one of the higher quality units. LP brand siding with the aluminum coating on the inside stays much cooler as it reflects heat back to the source

Oh goodie! A lost repo video! Yay! 🎉 Volunteer fire companies use those sirens as well as for tornado warnings. Sometimes they have a set routine to test. Feel bad for the dog being stuck outside in such a small kennel.

Round here every Wednesday at noon they go off. Marks the time and tests the system.

Yes it's an emergency siren. The University of Massachusetts (Amherst) is a block away from me. They test the siren usually in the summer but I haven't heard them test it yet. When the June 1st tornado hit in Springfield to Westfield (might be West Springfield) in 2011 it definitely went off and it was no false alarm. The sky literally went from blue sky to black within minutes.

Sigh. Huge yard. ALL the toys, multiple tractors, big pontoon boat, SUVs, and the dog lives in a space the size of a prison cell. The tractors had more room than the dog. I miss the repo videos from a technical challenge perspective. But I don't miss seeing these baffling situations be it a dog in a tiny pen or people living in terrible conditions. There but for the grace of God go I.

Josh these Sirens are for back in the 50s and 60s when they had bomb raids during Wartime) nowadays it is for tornado warnings and extreme weather alerts so on Friday at noon time they test the sirens to make sure they work and if they ever go off at any other time you will know that something devastating is going to happen.

The siren in my home town was and still today blown for fire department volunteers, and emergency weather ( tornado warning) that was before everyone had a weather app on their phone.

Emergency sirens go off every month on the first wednesday at noon as a test of equipment. It also allows people to know if they can hear the sirens in their neighborhood or workplace. If you never hear it talk to your city counsel! You should! Its annoying on wednesday but might save your life on a Saturday. My luck tornado comes at noon on the wed. Lol

The siren is a tornado siren. I lived in a place where one was run at noon and 10PM every day except Sunday where it was run at 10PM only, curfew siren. I could walk to it in a minute to a minute and a half. LOUD. When It went off there was hearing nothing except that dang siren. Where I live now there is one a couple miles away that I can barely hear run every Saturday at noon.

Volunteer fire dept in the town I grew up in had a siren like that and it went off at noon every day. So farmers out in the field knew what time it was and go home for lunch

Oh my gosh, I went into a panic!!! That siren sounded just like what would go off for a Tornado Warning or Watch when I was about 4 to 5 years old. I hated those sirens.

Not trying to tell you what to do but , if your tie down straps get frayed take some old 3-4 inch fire hose and put on them, last a little while longer, my opinion.great video

It's an old air raid siren. They likely use it for some kind of emergency notice now, like tornadoes or something.

Some towns run them every day at lunch time or once a week at noon as a test. Local practices vary, of course.

I want to save all these dogs, we generally don't keep dogs outside here in Scotland and those that do have big runs, and rarely kept outside in winter. Pretty lonely out there without a companion.

Josh you are such a good man I don’t know how you an age your steady personality but you really go above and beyond for these people and show compassion to their circumstances when they are respectful towards you. I’d sure enjoy using that equipment you definitely have the tools for the job. Do you ever feel that the rent to own system just makes it easy for people to put themselves into a spot they shouldn’t ? I understand it’s ultimately their responsibility to adult for themselves but I also wonder what the salespeople pitch is at times!

I believe this is a new one he's back at the shed hauling for now. But he's just helping out a buddy of his, so some new shed videos should be coming although they never promised they just said they will see how it goes. You should follow along their lives they fill in on quite a bit and they answer all the questions there!!

I'm in Ohio and yes they are sold at a discounted price, you can check Facebook marketplace or your local shed lots for them.

I have yet to see people clean out the shed by taking their own stuff out. I guess when you are living a repo life style your mind and body stops working.
