The woman seems to know what she's doing I'm sure the sheep feels that, sort of like expereinced sheep shearers! Maybe the sheep has also been around her and know her that might also help.

Great job. She looks so calm. Hope my lambs are that calm. I've been getting them used to having their feet handled, but need to practice the "flip on they back" technique which will make it easier. Thanks for the instructions. Have a great day.

I love my sheep but somehow in the last 20 years they got to be 360lbs! (They’ve always been that big) and I can no longer swing them into the ‘sit’ and manipulate the weight. Artificial knees, hip arthritis, two back surgeries and should replacement joints on the way soon…and I had to consider letting my business go or getting a handling system. $20,000 later I’m back in the game! This year we’re putting up a 4th sheep barn and expanding pasture and we will use the heck out of the ‘spinner’. They walk in, I cinch it up and spin them 150 degrees, trim the hooves, do vaccinations, crutching if needed etc. it’s a thing I should have done many years ago!

Having goats I've never trim hooves without some sort of fight. I see sheep like hers getting trimmed and sheared and I instantly get jealous lol

Canadian cooperative wool growers (CCWG), website is www.wool.ca They are by far the best type that I've used, and they hold their edge incredibly well!
