Dear Shaleka Dawit, there is no question that you were one of the very few Ethiopian officials who win many Eritrean hearts, thats why some people still mention your name....but for saying that monument has to be build for the Ethiopian soldiers is unthinkable in our generation, it like asking the Jewish to build Nazi monument in Tel Aviv. I have a great respect for trying to mention the distruction which was caused by the Ethiopians in the 30 years of occupation, you dont see that often from your side. Its great to hear your conversation, eventhough I dont agree with some of your opinion about the eritrea people that we had ethiopian feeling, i dont believe on that! its like saying that all addis people were crazy about Meles because you see them crying when he is dead.

Eritrea and Ethiopia never been administered in/by one central administration even1before WWII . Ethiopia should not tipped /pushed or involved in Eritrea's issues even after 1941. There was no need so called federation even by the symbolic complications conferences via UN or by ill interests of አመrica Eritrea should be by Eritreans . Ethiopia was not stable or better itself in 1940s even as a fictional disorder if not no where near a country to involve for the interest of its people. More stability for Ethiopia from the ill ethnicities or language /languages based dangerous federalism ? More stability,peace,progress and more cooperation between Eritrea and Ethiopia .

ሻለቃዬ እድሜና ጤና ተንቀሳቃሽ የታሪክ ማህደር ብዬ ብጠራዎ አድናቆቴን ለመግለፅ ከመነጨ ቅን ፍላጎት ነው የኤርትራን ህዝብ ለኢትዮጵያዌነቱ ምን ያህል ፍቅር እንደነበረው የገለፁት ላይ ብጨምር ልጆቻቸውን ሲሰይሙ ኢትዮጵያ ብለው የሚስይሙ ብቸኛ ዜጎችም ነበሩ በጥፋት በኩል ደግም ጣልያንን ከነመሳሪያቸው እየተዋጉ ከኢትዮጵያ ጦር ጋራ በመቀላቀል ለነፃነት ትልቅ ድርሻ ያበረከቱ የቀይ ባህር በራችን ደጀኖች በመሆን ለዘመናት መስዋዕት ሲከፍሉ የኖሩ በጥርጣሬ ሲታዩ ቀጥሎም ትልቅ በደል የደረስባቸው ሀቀኛ የኢትዮጵያ ልጆች ናችው ኤርትራዊያን ኢትዮጵያን በቅነት በታማኝነት ያገለገሉ ሠራተኛ ህዝቦች ናቸው ፖለቲከኞች እነ ጋሽ ኢሳያስ ደግም አሁን በተራቸው ፍዳቸውን እያበልዋቸው ነው እግዚአብሔር በኪነ ጥበቡ ይታደጋቸው መዓዛ ለኤርትራውያን ነፃ ወጥተናል ብለው ሳይሆን ጣልያን ከኤትዮጵያ ሲወጡ የተደስቱት ከዓላማቸው አንዱ ስለተፈፀመ እንጅ ኤርትራ አገራቸውማ ገና ነፃነትዋን አላገኘችም ሀገር ፍቅር ማህበሩም በኢትዮጵያ በኩል እጅ ጠምዞ አንድነት የሚለው በጣም አስቸጋሪና ክህደት እንደፈፀሙ ተደርጎ እስካሁን በኤርትራውያን ይቆጠራል

ምን ዓይነት ደደብ ነው እባክህ ባንዴራውንንና ምኒሊክ የኤርትራ ሕዝብ የሚያከብሩት በግድ ነው።ስንት ተጨፈጨፉ ስንት ታሰሩ እኔ ራሴ ትዝ ይለኛል በደርግ ግዜ ባንዴራ ሲሰቀል ለምን ኣልቆምክም ብለኝ ወህኒ ቤት ኣደርኩኝ።እባካቹ ያለነበረ ታሪክ ኣትናገሩ።

most derg officials who were in jail during the past 27 years r free now and during the old Eprdf administration (President Girma w/gorgis played a role on this). This past year alone, the new Ethiopian administration have gaven an official mercy (about 23,000 ppl)the ones who were abroad, that were on wanted list, this includes derg administration officials. This is what is on the ground in Ethiopia... Did most Eritreans know that?

Mr. Dawit! Please don't misinform us about the Ethiopian flag. To display the Ethiopian flag in Eritrea on all occasions was the law. It wasn't out of pure love for Ethiopia. Please teach your people the truth.
