That was always my favorite Sheldon moment when it comes to "normalize and humanize" him - Sheldon can be such a pain in the ass but deep down he truly cares about his friends and especially Leonard. It was so nice to see this expressed for once and then in such a simple but beautiful way.

It's not a laugh track. A laugh track would be on a separate audio track than the sounds being recorded by the cameras, its not. Coz its a live audience.

So... what ur saying is ur wrong... coz if SNL doesnt have a laugh track, how come this one does? TBBT was recorded in front of an audience. There isnt a separate audio track for the laughter, like there is for the music. I had to cut out certain parts and fade them, you can hear that, so there wouldn't be as much laughing. There is no laugh track.

Leonard could never bond with his siblings like an older brother he wanted to be and neither could sheldon as the youngest sibling. So he became the irritating younger brother and Leonard became the loving and caring elder brother. they both emotionally needed each other although sheldon couldn't realise it that early in the show.

"Where your biological family failed you..." Urgrh, I am crying so hard at the moment, your edit is a masterpiece. Sheldon and Leonard are brothers. They stick together like glue, Leonard is always there for Sheldon and although Sheldon has a hard time telling in words how much Leonard means to him, he has shown it many times in actions. Sheldon will always long for the affection and friendship of Leonard because he knows that Leonard understands him and accepts him as the person he is, weird habits and all.

This is what I find lacking with "Young Sheldon" show. Leonard really helped Sheldon get defined as a character and wouldnt be complete without such a friend to accent his characteristics.

Leonard isn't honestly sure why he is close to Sheldon and he gets annoyed iwht him a lot.. and Sheldon is always exasperating and doesn't care how annoying he is...

I don't know how many times I've watched this video or how many more times I'm gonna watch it (Saved to watch later), but I cried with joy every single time. This is by far the best TBBT edit I've seen and I don't think there can be a better one.

There are so many emotional moments in this masterfully edited arrangement of clips and a well chosen song to evoke those emotions even further... Well done, friend. There's two types of family... The kind we share DNA with, and the kind we choose for ourselves. I truly hope everyone who watches this, or already has watched it, has experienced this type of friend in their life.
