Imagine giving up an autographed Stan Lee Hulk toy just to get a wingman for one night. Especially now, because everything signed by Stan Lee became much more valuable after he died.

I could have had Hulk Hands signed by Lou Ferrigno but he canceled shortly after it was announced that he was going to be at Tampa Bay Comic Con and I had to cancel the order for the Hulk Hands.

This show does a good job of displaying both sides of a coin. Penny is a loving and caring person, as shown on previous occasions, but shes also the type of person thats popular enough socially to take advantage of Lenard and Sheldon without caring at all. Just like Lenard is an intelligent and caring person himself, as evident in his long time friendship with a man like Sheldon, but he can also be the type who considers himself so smart that peoples opinions sometimes dont matter because hes sure he is right. Everybody has faults, how much value you put on those faults is up to your personal perspective on life

Danica McKellar, who played Abby, started out as a child actor on The Wonder Years (where she played Winnie COOPER) and she also has a degree in mathematics and has authored a few math books for kids. So, kind of a very appropriate person to guest star on the show. ALSO, back in the season one episode when Leonard, Howard and Raj were trying to think of someone to replace Sheldon on their Physics Bowl team, Raj mentioned getting "the girl from The Wonder Years"! kzfaq.info/get/bejne/d9Kgh6eQvcrFdYU.html

Sorry for the belated response. Just stumbled upon your video and I remembered watching this episode a while ago. I thought the character of Martha was very sweet and seemed like she was quite charmed by Sheldon. Truly a shame that the writers didn't have her come back for a few more episodes, as I thought they had good chemistry with each other. Despite her interest in Sheldon and attraction to him, I didn't get the impression that she was only looking for a one night stand. Might've been interesting if she interpreted Sheldon's actions as him just being shy or going out of his way to behave like a gentleman, versus an outright rejection. Regarding Penny's belief in psychics, I think it's a tough call, as I'm a bit of a skeptic. If I were in a relationship with someone who took the supernatural that seriously, I don't think I would mock them for it, but I'd probably be a little worried that they might be handing over significant amounts of hard-earned money to someone that might not be totally legit. Hopefully, if someone out there had special abilities or some sort of ESP, they would use it to try and help people and not just make money.

While I agree with what you said about Leonard agreeing not to laugh at Penny and then doing it.... I kind of also think that someone who believes is things like astrology can't ultimately be compatible with someone who doesn't. If you truly believe in astrology, someone who only believes in real, provable science is never going to agree with your views on astrology, and that's something that is coming to come up in an intimate relationship, the same way that being an atheist vs a religious person does.

Political affiliation is not always a reflection of a person's values. That is the message that is sent out by social media (a message that I also find extremely divisive and dangerous) but I don't believe that to be true. I have friends, family, and colleagues with widely different political views and affiliations, and yet we all share similar values. In my personal experience, political affiliation is sometimes decided by emotions, intellect, or social pressure rather than values. Two people can value the same thing and believe that different approaches will reach the same goal more effectively. I would ask you to consider talking to multiple people of different political views and affiliations, people of varying social circles and socioeconomic statuses before presuming that they all have values that are so different from your own.

I think that religion is a result of people's upbringing and society and our brain's tendency to find patterns where there are none, similar to seeing objects in clouds or other natural formations. While I don't think we should destroy or quickly get rid of religion, I don't think we, as a society, need it and hope that it won't be a thing in the future. But it also depends on how you define religion. I like how it brings people together in a community over a common interest, but following a certain interpretation of an old text? Nah.

I’m a Trump supporter and you’re idea of not dating people who have a different political affiliation is truly dumb. One of my best friends worked for Obama and on the Biden campaign. We disagree on a ton but our main idealogical values are almost one hundred percent aligned, we just disagree on who we trust to help get us from point A to point B and what route to take. This is the problem with the left style of thinking, they don’t see that the opposition just has different ideas and that things change over time and totally discount political maturation and re-alignment and shout “racism” when people disagree. They see people who are more reality based and less idealogical and thus more libertarian or conservative as inherently bad people that are somehow morally inferior. Total nonsense and lunacy. It’s stupid when right wing people like Matt Walsh take a similar stance and it’s no better coming from the left.

@markgorenshtein1946
@markgorenshtein1946 2 жыл бұрын
@@khaalmalki4039 Part of both Marxism and whatever the left claims as inherently “right wing” Facism or political extremism is the inherent notion that political affiliation is tribal and these ideas as Breitbart correctly pointed out transcend politics and are result of cultural differences and religious beliefs (even if you’re not religious and are placing the market or the state in place of your church or place of worship and having a similar devotion of promoting it). This is something we need to work our way past by being more pragmatic and realistic and respecting views different from our own preferences and stop trying to legislate power into the hands of the few and unaccountable in order to protect the lowest common denominator, it’s a recipe for disaster and turns Democracy into little more than a blood sport that benefits the few at the top that picked the winning team while putting their thumbs on the scale. It’s total bullshit designed by bad actors and puts us at what Breitbart correctly described as “War”.

As far as I'm concerned, being a Trump supporter indicates that a person is a moral sinkhole. A depraved, reprehensible, stupid, ignorant, loathsome reptile in the shape of a human being. But according to you, maybe we can still be friends?

@@benkelly2024 Thank you for proving my point. I voted for Obama btw and even worked on his re-election campaign. Fact: 10 million former Obama voters flipped to vote for Trump. But thank you so much for showing your ignorance and arrogance and how liberal and “tolerant” you are and how committed you are to liberal principles. You’re an idealogue that doesn’t just hate Trump or elected Republicans because of disagreements on politics or policy (most of which you probably don’t fundamentally understand the mechanics of you just have formed your opinion because MSNBC or David Pakman or TYT have told you things you’ve never really researched for yourself or bothered to learn and educate yourself on how legislation is even written and how government departments work, you’ve never bothered to read even a cliff notes summary of the Federalist Papers much less any Conservative or Libertarian thought by anyone from Rand to Schlafley to Goldwater, you probably never took philosophy classes on the philosophical ideas behind Conservatism and Nationalism and self-governance and the philosophers that shaped these ideas beyond reading somewhere that Hitler was a fan of Nietzsche, which Nietzsche was in no way a Nationalist or a Conservative, you really don’t know anything) you hate over 75 million people that you think you are morally superior to, I’m sure you would have them sent to “re-education camps” as well. 👌👍
